What’s metagaming?: - Use of out-of-game information to affect your in-game decisions. For instance if you were in the middle of a battle and the enemy team was tunneling underground to flank you, you wouldn't be able to point out that they were there, for it would be impossible for your character to see their name tags. What’s powergaming?: - Where a player makes a scene that is impossible to respond to. For instance turning into a bear and eating the entire village. What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 127 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Rory, Son of Grumdul, grew up in the mines of Kal'Anart being taught the fundamentals of being a successful coal miner as his brother, Rorek, who was a determined warrior, brought honor and valor to the Grandaxe Clan at a young age. His brother often acted like a father-figure to him for he was rarely noticed by the rest of the clan, after long hours in the mines Rory would get lessons on how to use a short-bow from him.
Many years later, war broke out between the dwarves and orcs of Asulon. The home of the Grandaxe Clan, Kal'Anart, was under siege. Rory heard the marching of an orc war-band and the creaking and rumbling of the siege weaponry. Rory quickly dropped his pick-axe and ran up the dark passages of the mine to find his beloved town under attack. He grabbed his bow and hid in the tree line picking the orcs off one-by-one, noticing the orcs were hastily approaching with a battering ram. He scrambled to take out any surrounding orcs, barely preventing the city gate from crashing down.
Rory's deeds on that fateful day were never to be known any other than his brother, Rorek. Years later, a great plague swept across the land and struck many, killing large numbers within cities and villages. In a quick attempt to leave the plague-striken land, Rory and Rorek got on a ship headed to Anthos and started life anew.
What are they like (personality)?: - Rory is a quiet yet very efficient worker that follows behind his brother's lead in most scenarios, generally tries to avoid speaking to other races such as Orcs and Goblins and is very wary around unknown lands and circumstances. What are their ambitions?: - To become a respected dwarf within the Grandaxe clan bringing honor to his name, and to venture the lands of Anthos with his brother Rorek. Do they have any special skills?: - Mining and using a short-bow. What are their weaknesses?: - Rory is very un-diplomatic and isn't good with close-quarter's combat.
