End of Map Warzone An end of map warzone to use up all the gear you've stored over the course of this map is now open! This warzone is entirely ooc and will last for the next few days where you can enjoy nexus pvp for the last time ever Warzone Info: There are three preset statuses, warps to the bases for each respective status can be found at the center of the human hub. They are marked with 3 different wool colors, however feel free to switch your status once inside. Warzone Rules: No rules for this warzone, feel free to: Invade bases status switch + teamkill Use cav or any other mount Use glitched gear Dont hack The map is the area around the Peremont battlefield from the Dukes war. Have fun!

They'll be allowed for the warclaim not this warzone, but they'll be allowed in end of map warzone + next map warzones

i woke up this morning and sat down and decided to finish the war server. I kept discord closed so I wouldn't get distracted by the usual angry messages or "help me!!" pings. I opened discord after finishing and found out the warclaim was cancelled

Oren Norland Warzone The warzone between Oren + allies and Norland + allies has been moved to a different server, type /warsend anywhere to be teleported. Upon entering you will have to pick a status, fighting for Norland or affectionate for Oren. There are no scheduled events or rewards for this warzone, the post will be updated if any events are agreed upon. Info: use /warsend to be moved to the war server. use /mainsend on the war server to be transferred to the main server, you can use this at anytime but there is a timer to prevent combat-logging. The only way to log-out of the war server is by using the /mainsend command. If you close your game or shut off your internet to leave the war server, you will be automatically moved back the next time you connect to any LotC server. Pvp on the war server is missing a few things which will be added soon. Future skirmishes and sieges will be ran on this server. Warzone rules agreed upon: Norland side must use status Fighting in the warzone, and Oren side must use status affectionate. If you're fighting in the Warzone without a status or a different status you will be teleported out. If you would like to switch sides/status you must leave the warzone by doing /mainsend to get back to the main server and reconnecting with /warsend. Gate signs and such have been removed, therefore you are not allowed to enter the enemy's base ever. You will be banned if you do. Horses and other mounts are NOT allowed. You may not enter the warzone without armor. All other server rules. Warzone will be shut down in a few days and switched to an end of map warzone to use/get rid of gear.

If you're fighting in the Warzone without a status or a different status you will be teleported out. If you would like to switch sides/status you must leave the warzone and go the opposites side portal. Bases are NOT allowed to be invaded. Horses and other mounts are NOT allowed. You may not enter the warzone without armor. All other server rules. The warzone will be shut down in a few days and switched to a different server, this post will be updated when that happens.

Hi all, Today's warclaim at 3 EST will happen on the war server. Here's some information you should read if you plan on participating. Inventories Inventories are now completely sent back and forth between the main and war server to maintain a single set of your items, we no longer "copy" your inventory like we did during the test sessions. You can connect with the same command, /warsend when it gets close to the start of the warclaim, your inventory will be sent over however you'll have to wait in a queue before you are actually switched over to the war server, any items you put in your inventory after running the command wont be transferred. If you die or disconnect/leave during the warclaim, you wont be able to join the war server again for the duration of the warclaim. If the warclaim ends and you're still alive, you'll be able to run /mainsend which will transfer you and your inventory back to the main server, if you disconnect and connect to the main server via ip, your items won't transfer, you must run the command if you wish for your items to transfer. The system is kind of clunky but it'll be made better. If you do end up losing your inventory/items, pm me afterwards. Your status will also be transferred, please put the status of your respective side on before you join the war server queue so you will be teleported to your teammates. Enderchests do NOT transfer here, this will be working soon. Horses Right before the warclaim, a command will be turned on which will allow you to turn your horse into an egg. It's stats and armor will be saved to the egg, keep the egg in your inventory when you connect to the war server. On the war server, you'll be able to spawn the horse back in with the same stats + armor + owner by simply right clicking the egg. Donkey's and Mules can also be transferred, but items stored in the donkey/mule won't be transferred for this warclaim, it will be fixed for future warclaims. Right now only donkeys, mules and horses can be transferred, other pets will soon be transferable soon. The command is /warpet <pet id> Almost all pvp mechanics are the same on the war server, though a few minor things are still missing such as grappling hooks etc. These will be added in soon. Kaz'Ulrah Urguan Warzone A warzone between Kaz'Ulrah + allies and Urguan + allies is now open, the portal for Kaz'Ulrah side can be found outside Kaz'Ulrah and the portal for the Urguan side can be found outside Kal'Omith. P.S. the portals are signs, not carts, There are no scheduled events or rewards for this warzone, the post will be updated if any events are agreed upon. Warzone rules agreed upon: Kaz'Ulrah side must use status Fighting in the warzone, and Urguan side must use status Casting. If you're fighting in the Warzone without a status or a different status you will be teleported out. If you would like to switch sides/status you must leave the warzone and go the opposites side portal. Bases are NOT allowed to be invaded. Grappling hooks are NOT allowed to be used to enter a base, please maintain a balance of roleplay when using them elsewhere. Horses and other mounts are NOT allowed. Hi all, We're having the 4th war server test sessions tomorrow(Saturday), 9/23/2017 at 3 EST. We need as many people as possible to help us stress test the server by participating in a for-fun warclaim that will last about an hour. Many things have been toned down or outright removed, however several new features we're testing are available for use exclusively during these sessions so the pvp mechanics experienced here will not be exactly parallel to the mechanics on the main server, however most of the core pvp mechanics have been transferred. If you'd like to try out the new stuff, be sure to come! Inventories + Personas Inventories won't transfer this time, however personas will. There will be gear chests at the spawns for both teams and they'll be constantly refilled during the test. Siege weapon bugs were fixed including people not taking arrow damage. The bow thing was caused by a bug that prevented people from taking arrow damage not latency, will be resolved for next time They'll most definitely last longer, since it was just a test session with infinite respawns there were really no tactics or waiting for a breach etc. People will obviously be more careful with how they play when its an actual siege -
War Server Test Session #2 Report Huge thank you to the ~70 players who came and participated today, we got some good results and we hope everyone had a fun time. A couple issues with today's test: Respawning wasn't handled in the best way with everyone spawning back in at the same point, for tomorrow we plan to fix that by having you respawn at your status's spawn point. Kill tracking seemed to only work on swords, we have big plans for kill-tracking items and they'll definitely be fixed soon. What to expect tomorrow: Mechanical siege engines for both sides. Horses most likely will be able to be be transferred. Much better respawning system. Health reduced from 60 hearts back to 40. Better/Iconic siege area from an old LotC map. We're really hoping for double the numbers tomorrow or at least over 100 players, a reminder that it will start between 3:00 - 3:30 EST, hopefully this time works for most people. It's safe to say we can run skirmishes pretty seamlessly, however we're eager to see how a siege will be so it's super important if you're free to come participate! If you'd like to be put on the same team as your friends tomorrow, reply here with all your usernames! Thanks again for coming today!

Hi all, We're having the second war server test sessions today(Friday), 9/15/2017 at 5 EST. We'll also be having a third session on Saturday, 9/16/17 at 3 EST. We need as many people as possible to help us stress test the server by participating in a for-fun warclaim that will last about an hour. Many things have been toned down or outright removed, however several new features we're testing are available for use exclusively during these sessions so the pvp mechanics experienced here will not be exactly parallel to the mechanics on the main server, however most of the core pvp mechanics have been transferred. If you'd like to try out the new stuff, be sure to come! Inventories + Personas For these test sessions, your inventory WILL be copied and transferred to the war server, however, even if you lose the items while participating (we're turning off inventory drop) , this will have NO effect on the items you had on the main server. Basically we're copying your inventory over to the war server and letting you use your own items in the test warclaim without any risk of you actually losing them on the main LotC server. You also won't bring back items you may have picked up, this test session is purely to see how the server handles a large scale battle, there's no risk in participating. It's very important for us that we get as many people as possible participating if they are able to in order to ensure that future warclaims are better. If you're free at 5 EST today and/or at 3 EST on Saturday, it would be greatly appreciated if you came for at least some of the time. If you have absolutely no gear to use but would still like to participate, you will be given a standard set of gear just for the test session. Friday's test session will be a regular skirmish, however this time it will be much more organized and almost identical to an actual skirmish. Saturday's test session will be held like a siege, you should definitely come out to this one if you'd like to see some cool new mechanical additions/changes to how future warclaims will be ran! Hey, this is a preliminary Your View thread for combat changes happening for next map. This is only for combat, but there will be different threads for professions and crafting, there will also probably be more of these as we get closer to 6.0. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated and will be taken into account when changes are made for next map. There won’t be any sort of poll with this thread since we’re just looking for general feedback at this point. Here are some confirmed changes will be implemented come the transition for 6.0(Subject to changes depending on community feedback): -Slowness debuff(armor weight) on iron and chain armor will be fully removed. -Complete removal of 1.9 styled combat. Diamond weapons will no longer have swing-timers. Damage stats on these weapons will be changed accordingly. -Horse changes: Speed, health and jump will all be massively nerfed. -Diamond armor changes : Total durability will be lowered and have an enchantment cap. -Arrow Velocity bonuses on Bows and Archery Damage bonuses on studded armor will be changed to flat bonuses. (No more insane archer damage) -Custom Nexus Arrows(barbed, frost oil, armor piercing etc.) will only do half the damage of a normal arrow This post will be updated within the next few days with some more confirmed changes. War Server Test Session #1 Report After a few weeks of work, the Development and GM War Team had made enough on the war server where we felt comfortable enough to have a test session for the playerbase. The main focus of today’s test session was to stress test. We made the arena as small as possible to force all the players being loaded in at the same time. Next week we plan to begin showing off some of the features, we have a lot of surprises. Remember, everything that occurred during the test session was 100% OOC. - We were very optimistic when we saw that the server had 110+ players online, and was still running with no server-side lag(20 TPS). However, the first time PvP was enabled, the server somewhat broke down and console was being flooded. Something like this was to be expected for the preliminary test sessions, and luckily midway through @Defy was able to hot-fix the issue. Here is an example of what console was being flooded with: Here is the configuration line we adjusted to fix it: After we restarted the server with the new configuration, we encouraged people to come back. For about an hour, there was an all out free-for-all between 70+ people and the server ran at no lag(20 TPS) throughout that entire duration. It was loads of fun to watch, and we hope it was just as fun to experience. This is meant to be the new standard of warclaims for the server, essentially entirely lag free. Again, a huge thank you to the ~70 players who came back and participated after the initial hiccup. We hope everyone had a fun time. Another thank you to the volunteer players who helped get the initial queue system up to par. We plan on doing more test sessions in the very near future. The next one will have a better map, cavalry, and a few more features we’re excited to release! A very big thank you to the following people who made the war server possible: Firstly, a huge thank you to @Tythus and @Kowaman for providing us with the means to create the server. Thank you @Defy for handling all of the servers configuration/optimizations and thank you and @Tofuus for bungee server setup.

This is nowhere near a final product. Inventories + Personas For this test session, your inventory WILL be copied and transferred to the war server, however, even if you lose the items while participating (we're turning off inventory drop) , this will have NO effect on the items you had on the main server. Basically we're copying your inventory over to the war server and letting you use your own items in the test warclaim without any risk of you actually losing them on the main LotC server. Your persona + racial buffs will also be transferred and be usable in this test warclaim. Horses/pets will not be transferable for this test session, however they will be for the next one. Hello, Some of you might remember the idea of a warclaim server that was brought up some time ago. The project is nearing its completion, and we’re looking for feedback about what things you’d like to see implemented in the final release. Please read through the entire thread before giving feedback, thank you. The Server The war server is completely separate from the main LotC server everyone is familiar with and is only accessible during war claims. When entering the server, it will teleport you into your respective starting areas, as is normal with the current nature of war claims. Previously, we’ve teleported players to different worlds in an attempt to decrease lag with moderate success. These worlds still ran all the plugins that the main server ran and was somewhat burdened with running all of them and supporting the warclaim itself. The war server does not use all the plugins seen on LotC, only specific ones that directly affect wars on LoTC. This change will not affect pvp in raids/arranged skirmishes on the main server, those will still happen normally. The war server itself has been optimized to the bare bones, mob spawning is completely off, only certain chunks are loaded, extraneous checks and settings have been turned off completely or lowered as much as possible. Plugins Plugins that contain code used in pvp or warclaims have had the specific code stripped from it and moved to a single pvp plugin that will be used on the war server. We are still in the process of finishing this plugin. Anything that is not absolutely necessary for warclaims to run will be considered bloat and will not be included on the server. In addition, players not participating will also see a decrease in lag on the main server as well, with 100-250 players no longer occupying it. We want to know what your thoughts are on adding things such as automated siege engines that eliminate the need for emotes and rolls during sieges that not only making sieges more immersive, but also make sieges much easier to moderate, also things like better visuals such as scoreboards displaying team numbers and information along with individual performance with a kill and assist tracker, etc. and other enhancements for pvp/warclaims that you can think of not seen on LotC. We ask the communities’ feedback on this and any additions/deletions that you can think of. Note We don’t actually know if this war server will help reduce lag experienced in warclaims or if the inherent problem with warclaims is just throwing 100+ players in a single chunk, so in reality this is just a big experiment, however we are hopeful for the results. There will be several test sessions before this is fully implemented into the war system and we will need YOUR help with them, be on the lookout for new posts about testing!
