Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Gorlan was a young man with years of experience working in the fields around Oakhearth, back is straight and strong. The man Gorlan calls father came out of the blue when he was 4 years old; his Father, Horus puts his family before everything else. Gorlan remembers very little of the times before his father. Just after Gorlan turns 16 his father falls ill, becoming progressively sicker and weaker. A mysterious man comes to the village knocking on when he gets to Gorlan’s house the man, asks his Mother a few quiet questions then sits at the door to wait. When father returns from the fields and with an ashen face he asks the man “What an earth are you doing here?” The man simply replies “it is a matter of a debt of dishonourable business.” Then father says no more and continues in to the house, the man stands and leaves. As the door closes Gorlan’s Father collapses to the floor. They help the shaken man to his favourite spot near the hearth and against his mother’s protest he starts to tell Gorlan his story. “Many years ago I was in the Knights of the Horens where I was the human liaison to the silver Enclave of Haelun'or and its High Elven Government, when there kingdom fell; I was taken in to hiding. It took me years to return to the Horen’s. I had sworn an oath to the Horens to protect them, but I was unable to fulfil. I was a drunkard idiot and failed in my duty. That man is here to remind me and my family of my oath and the debt so honour is passed down to you. Gorlan I am a sick old man and I must task you with my debts.” Discover me and who you are, for I was and am too weak in spirit and flesh. Then you will see who we all are” Amazed at his Father’s words Gorlan protests that he does not know anything of such things and Knightly ways. “Your work has been your training Gorlan, trust in how I have taught you.” And so at the age of 16 Gorlan departs his family determined that the debt will be repaid, knowing that if he sees his Father again everything will have changed. 8 years later… Gorlan is now an Honourable man as he travelles the kingdoms experiencing much of Athera, from the Dwarf Kingdom of Urguan to the Elves of the State of Laureh'lin all the way down to Vanderfall, Gorlan has been everywhere. He soon discovered his father’s lessons make him an instinctive fighter with a farmer’s determination to see everything through. He won’t make a fortune and sometimes he goes cold at night. He’s just living life on the road driven against his will to find the peace his father is looking for always trying to find some answers, perhaps his quest will end soon…... Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): When I was 7 my parents were killed during the plague and I was left to die then a man, whose name I still don’t know to this day but he said this “you have the strength needed in a young boy to do what needs to be done” those words are still ringing in my head. Then it happened… I was 15 and I and my Master was the road headed north from the town of Aldersberg. When were ambushed, and on the coats of the soldiers was the one thing we didn’t want to see… A blood red oak leaf, I turn to my master and looked at him. He seemed very wary, and then I asked him what was wrong. Then he told me the tale…. In the first days Athera a group of men wearing red cloaks came to the land preaching about blood and war, saying this kingdom would be split in 2 and he meant literally split in 2. Everyone laughed at these men but my order back then took these men seriously. Thinking that they were up to something grave, and then it started. The High Elves were overthrown in 1475 and with it rumours of mysterious men roaming the streets. That’s when my order took notice and kept a watchful eye on these preachers. The story was told and the stage is set. We were riding back to home when we stopped overnight in Oakhearth at the inn to get some rest. Then strange noises I heard were ringing in the streets so I get up to investigate. Then it all happened I was rolling around the hallway fighting with a mysterious man, everyone in the Inn heard the commotion and came running up with swords in hand. But they were too late on the floor was a bloody boy and a man lying dead next to him. From that day onwards Gorlan worked along with the final words his master said “bring peace to the 5 kingdoms you must then their intentions will be realised” then he was dead. We were ambushed, and on the coats of the soldiers was the one thing we didn’t want to see… The Royal Coat of Arms… of King Ostromir Carrion my master was horrified, so he took the coat of the commander to show to the king. We were entering the city gates on horseback when a lady came up to us and started screaming then the guards started surrounding us then my master demanded what was happening that when the king himself greeted us and shouted TRAITOR! Me and my master didn’t wait we started to ride out the city gates and they started to close the gates then the worst happened… my masters horse was shot then I came back for him and he shouted I’ll be fine but then my horse was shot from underneath me and I ran. Then … I saw a soldier put a sword through him then I vowed for revenge. Ever since then every time I see one of Carrions Soldier… I put a knife thru his heart with this final word “My master will be impressed but what about yours?” Living life on the road has been hard with only my cloak and bow with arrows and finally my 2 knifes. What are their weaknesses?: His weakness is that when he loses some1 close to him he will want to kill everyone responsible until that is done and he will not do nothing else.
