Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography.: - Augustine was born to a wealthy merchant and slave trader in the township of Cintran, who had gained favor with the White Rose regime in Kaedrin due to a strong dislike of the Dark Elves who plagued his caravans. This merchant befriended the White Rose disciplinarian and chancellor Vibius de Sola as a result, who became acquainted with the young Augustine as well. After seeing the intellectual prowess the young boy demonstrated, and the father’s neglect of his talents, Vibius offered to take Augustine under his personal tutelage. The merchant agreed, and life for Augustine changed for the better as Vibius’s student and ward, in the fortress capital of Ard Kerrack. Although Augustine followed his own interests in the end, Vibius managed to impart some of his ideals onto the impressionable young man, making plans to induct him into White Rose just before calamity struck Anthos and the population was forced from the land. What are they like?: - Augustine’s only outward trait is that he rarely if ever shows emotion, his lazy way of speaking and his slow gait suggesting he’s constantly at peace - or bored. This makes it near impossible to get a good read on him, but in truth, the inner machinations of his mind are probably best left to stay where they are. What are their ambitions?: - His unique senses of duty and nationalism have lead him to seek a position on the privy council, where Augustine believes he can do the most good for the realm. Beyond a place in the council, he has a specific interest in technology as a method of advancing Oren to a point of dominance over its neighbors. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses?: - Augustine boasts one of the most impressive intellects in the known world, applying it primarily to scientific research and radical ideas. As a result of his focus on academic pursuits, both his skill with a longsword and physical strength are only slightly above-average at best. Due to his naturally cold, curt mannerisms and a truly odd speech pattern he seems to have some difficulty expressing himself in words, often mumbling and repeating himself for no reason in particular. Although in-shape, his muscles clearly leave much to be desired in terms of raw power. His "uniform" is colored after the ruling house of Oren.
