  1. Mandate from the High Prophet, 1596

    _____________________________________________

It was the year 1592 the last Mandate was made and many big decisions were made in it, including the long overdue Paragonship of Igor Ireheart and saying that Wyrvun and Dormmar were true Brathmordakin, and newly appointed Prophets.

On Wyrvun and Dormmar, Da Kirkja Dverga, more specifically, His Holiness Darid Irongut hereby redacts their decision. The evidence against this has been that Wyrvun and Dormmar are ‘High Beasts’ and had nothing to do with the creation. Wyrvun is no “Lord of Virture”, Dungrimm is. Also no Brathmordakin would ever be corrupted by the attempts of Khorvad, in which Wyrvun was. Neither of these Beasts were creators of the Sons of Urguan. Da Kirkja Dverga hereby declares the First Part of the Mandate from the High Prophet, 1592, was false. Wyrvun and Dormmar are not Brathmordakin. This still does not mean Igor Ireheart is not a Paragon, For he is one. He is a simple servant of all Brathmordakin, but his patron was Dungrimm.

All Clergymen reserve the right to hold a sermon, As it was in the old any member not just a Priest held the right to hold a sermon, Kardel Irongut discussed this with the High Prophet. So henceforth, Any member of Da Kirkja Dverga holds the right to hold a Sermon.

Da Kirkja Dverga hereby announces that they are working on a written book on the Brathmordakin, detailing lost stories and fables. This book is to be expected in the next coming years.

On the recent years we appointed new Prophets to fill in for old ones that either went missing or died, Here is the Updated List of Prophets:

    -Prophet of Yemekar, Darid

    -Prophet of Belka, Tharggus Irongut

    Signed,

    Darid, The High Prophet

    Tharggus Irongut, Prophet of Belka

  2.

Minecraft Name: (If you have multiple, put which you want the pex to be added to.)  GandalfDahWhite

Skype ID: (Can be put to private, however if you get an interview be sure to contact me.) hiphoplives5

    Time-zone: Central Standard Time

Do you, or have you held, any other staff positions: (Other servers included.)  I’ve held a moderator position on another server before, Other then that, that’s it.

Where do you grab inspiration from: (Games, books, etc.) I take a lot of inspiration from The Lord of the Rings, The Fallout series, all of The Elder Scrolls games(Skyrim, Oblivion, etc…), and the Septimus Heap book series.

What are your current list of characters, and are you willing to sacrifice any: I only have Darid Irongrinder and I would be willing to sacrifice him.

What race, or group, do your events best cater to: The best race I’d best cater to is the Dwarves, only because I’ve been around them for about 3 years now. Though I am open and have been trying to learn a lot about other groups.

What do you believe are they key factors for a successful event: Organization, Teamwork, Taking Risks(You have to take risks and see if people like the event. Not always is a fully planned out event the best because you could always have something go wrong, and then the rest of the event would be ruined. You have to deal with change.), You also have to avoid Out of Character chats unless necessary, Doing something you have interest or passion and enthusiasm  in( You got to have to enjoy what you are doing. If you’re not enjoying your event, then it’s going to turn out poorly for all parties.), Taking on Challenges, Going that extra mile to make events fun.

What strengths would you bring to the team: (Knowledgeable in lore, great organizer, etc.): Reliability, Time, and Compassion

Why do you want to be part of the team: I wish to join the Event Team so I can bring enjoyment, a good time, and a overall good roleplay experience for anybody on the server.

Create three distinct event scenarios based on the servers lore that you would organize: (Keep in mind that these pitches are to the managers and the lead, no the community.)

    Event 1:  3-5 people

A group of adventurers discover that a house has been abandoned.  They decide to go in and explore. Immediately when the group walks in they see a fire appear in the fireplace.  Should they wish to continue to explore they will enter another room. Then the room will go dark and the room re-arranged. Then the lights would re-appear. The party can choose to either loot the room or continue on, should they choose to loot they will find little knick-knacks.  The party walks into the next room and little by little there vision starts going dark. They will see a creature running across the room , but with the party's vision going dark they will not be able to make out the creature. The adventurers vision will be fully dark, and then they shall awaken outside of the house. Anything they picked up in the house will no longer be in their inventories. Pretty much this event can be changed on and during the duration of the event depending on how players feel.

    Event 2: 5-7 people

A group of friends will be traveling down the road. They will stumble across the town. At which point they can choose to either keep on walking, or investigate the town. If the choose option A, the event does not happen and another group can do it. Now If Option B is chosen, The group will discover that the town has been  abandoned but clearly someone was just there. The group will have to discover certain things, mainly find hidden (obvious) rooms. If they find them they will see creatures run out. Depending on whether or not they catch these creatures or not will make this event advance. Once they gather up a few of these creatures they will figure out that they are not creatures, But deformed forest dwarves. The leader of this group will come out and tell the party their backstory. These deformed forest dwarves became outcasts, and spent years of travel never sticking in the same place for to long. They finally found a place they could call home and never had contact with the outside world for years. They lived in peace and prosperity until they saw the party coming. They assumed it was the same party that had been tracking them down for years. They went into hiding and became frightened when they got captured just minutes ago. The party leader will now have two options, Either continue to listen out to the deformed forest dwarves, or slaughter and raid them(This option ends the event). If they choose the first option the party will be  tasked with several quests, including getting the village supplies, help them build necessary buildings, and help them with a defense incase they ever  get caught by the group that wishes to hunt them.  If the party of adventurers can complete these quests, the village will hold a grand festival. At this festival they will gift the party with small wooden crafts and arts that they’ve specialized in after years of isolation. At the very end of this the town will suddenly go into panic. At which point the leader of the town and a few others will approach the party and accuse them of working with the hunters.  The party can either choose to try and deny these accusations, or  say they indeed have been working with the hunters all this time and attack the town(This option will put the party into battle at which point they will have to fight off the town and the Hunters). If they choose the first option of helping defend, they will work with the villagers and the village will prepare for defense.  At which point a small PVE event will happen of 2-3 waves of mobs. After this the town will rejoice and celebrate sending the party with some supplies and a thank you for there work and helping them.

    Event 3:  12+ People

Bandits will come out of nowhere and start besieging a city. The party will rally against the oncoming horde of Bandits. The bandits will then stop right outside of the city demanding food and minas.  The defenders will either pay up or be attacked,  If paid up the attackers will take the money, then attack for more. The defenders will find themselves outnumbered but stronger. The battle will rage on until the defenders attack the leader of the Bandits. They will then duel against the Leader. Should they win they will be able to loot the leaders special made weapon. Then the Defenders will have to push the weakened bandits to  their hideout. The defenders will find large pockets of bandits, and then see a very weak camp. Should they push in they will soon discover that it was a suicidal trap as the entrance to the camp will be collapsed. Then the remaining bandits will start attacking the  oncoming party  and also start setting their own camp on fire so it will not be lost to the non-bandits. The fire slowly spreading to the whole camp, the party must quickly find their way out or a place to survive the fire. Should any member of the party decide to loot, they will enter a one of the bandits shack to which the entrance will be collapsed. The party member must quickly find an escape, or they will find their quick demise. The ending to this story depends on the actions of the party(and also depending on what players react to, and how they are feeling.)

How long do you plan to be able to work on the team: For as long as I can and or have the motivation for.

Tell me a joke: I dreamt I was forced to eat a giant marshmallow, I woke up and my pillow was gone.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?:

    Tahariae Priest Healing

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Well, Tahariae, Aengul of Purity and Justice and etc has a main goal, To achieve Descendent Purity. To his Clerics, he gives them a sliver of his healing magic establishing connection between Tahariae and said Cleric. The Cleric establishes this 'Light'/Magic through prayer or meditation, and said cleric would be filled with energy. Although, a recently connected cleric can't achieve the same powers as a cleric who has been in constant practice for years. This is because new Clerics can't control the connection as well as the more experienced counterpart. Though this power does improve through practice. But before the In Training Cleric can use this, he must first be connected by an experienced Cleric who possesses the power of connection. After a short ritual in which the connection is established, The Cleric in Training can summon his light with help of his mentor/experienced clerics. Once the Cleric establishes his connection to Tahariae, a warm like substance seems to be like light diffuses from a Wand, Hand, or Staff. This light is the physical manifestation from Tahariae's healing power.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Darid walks over to his shrine of Tahariae, close behind follows his student.

"Hello, Today I'm going to teach you a lesson that was taught to me by my teacher, I will now teach it to you. It is how to heal small basic wounds."

Darid would walk over to a storage container and pull out a Dagger and a few candle sticks and a flame kit. He would place one on each corner of the alter.

"Please pull out the spell book and open it to the marked page." He would say then open his own book to the section called "The Hymn of Restoration and the Ritual of Healing'. He would mark his page with a feather, then pull out the flame kit. He goes to light each candle stick, and as he would do so he would recite the Hymn of Promise.

"O' Pure One. To you do I promise my life."

"To you I promise my soul."

"To You I promise my loyalty."

"And to you, I promise my heart."

Darid would then pull out the dagger from earlier and show it to his pupil. He would have his pupil place his arm over the center of the alter. Darid would then slice a small cut no more then an 1/12 of a Inch deep, and No more then an Inch. Darid would then pull out a root from his alchemy, in which he crushes in his hands and applies to Student's arm to stop any/anymore bleeding. After doing such, Darid would flip back to a marked page with the hymn of restoration. He would lift his staff over the altar and look to his book, then begin to pray.

"O Tahariae, Lord of Purity, I, Your Humble mortal servant, call upon you.

Grant me Thy Light of grace and restoration.

Ignore not the pain and suffering of the Descendants caused by impurity in this realm.

May this be a testament to Thy Glory."

Darid points his staff down further, as he does so his staff ignites in his chosen Holy White Light. Darid moves is staff over to the blessed candles, the candles would change from the orange-red glow to a bright white flame. He then continues the second part of the prayer.

"reach down, Oh Lord, and wipe clean these wounds.

Allow me to use Thy light and to do Thy pure and holy work.

Restore flesh and bone and blood and life with Thy Holy light.

May this be a testament to Thy Glory."

As Darid comes to the close of the second part, his clerical light descends onto the injured part of the Student's arm. Darid would focus on the mending process and the final result of the light does so mending the wound reattaching it's severed ends. As the healing nears completion Darid reads the final part...

"For it is through Thy light that peace is found.

It is through Thy light that suffering ends.

It is through Thy light that purity is brought.

May this be a testament to Thy Glory."

Darid raises his staff away from the now healed part and takes a deep breath. As he continues to inhale and exhale the light is sucked back into his staff. He then asks his Student if he had any questions about the process, then guides him through it.

Tend to hearth, home, and land, drawing strength and safety from truth, tradition and the rule of law. Join with friends, kin and clan in common purpose. Lives should never be thrown away foolishly, but the greatest honor is to sacrifice oneself for the cause of the field of battle in service to a righteous cause. Honor the dead and death itself and keep the places of the dead inviolate and well tended; the noble ancestors of our race will neither be robbed nor moved through the actions of thieves and defilers. The wealth of the world was created for those dwarves crafty enough to capture it by any means necessary. Do not seize wealth from the children of the Brathmordakin however, nor conspire against the favored of Grimdugan, for strife in the name of avarice weakens the clan.

The only assured knowledge of Khorvad comes from archaic dwarven tomes of history, telling a tale of the blatant mal intent brought forth by him. it has also been said that Iblees may be an incarnation of the chaos brought forth by him, bringing this dark creature (Iblees) into existence
