What is roleplaying?: - Taking on a role of a fictional/non-fictional character and assuming the attitude and actions of that character. What’s metagaming?: - Gaining knowledge/"the upper hand" by using external factors to affect he game, therefore defeating the purpose of the players role and breaking the players immersion. What’s powergaming?: - Forcing and action onto another player that are usually quite hard to believe and unlikely, for example: "*I cut Joe in half with a swift, yet powerful swipe*" In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. (and sub-race if applicable): - Human (Northerner) What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 25 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Collie was born in Vekaro to a loving father, however, they both left shortly after his birth due to financial reasons, or at least that's what he was told. Collie's mother died during child birth but according to his father she was a fantastic woman. Collie and his father moved far away from every major settlement and took upon a life of self-sustaining farming and hunting. A majority Collie's young life consisted of him doing daily chores for his father such as harvesting crops and fishing. Sometimes Collie's father would let Collie accompany him on his hunting trips into the woods but Collie was never aloud to shoot his fathers bow, he was only allowed to observe. However on Collie's 15th birthday his father decided that it was the perfect time for Collie to begin bow training. Collie quickly became skilled with a bow and it made his father very proud. As Collie grew older he began to get bored of his seemingly uneventful life in the woods with his father. As Collie entered his prime age of 20 years old his father started to grow sick. Collie had to look after his father for 5 years until eventually he sadly died. Collie realized however that this could be a new beginning for him and after burying his fathers body he set off for a life of adventure. He took basic supplies, his fathers bow and every arrow he could get his hands on. What are they like? (personality): - Collie has the heart of a lion. He is a brave and kind man. (much like his father) He hides an impressive amount of skill and strength under a humble exterior. He is a quiet and reserved type of person and he goes to extreme lengths for his family/friends. (spent 5 years caring for his dying father) What are their ambitions?: - Collie has never had the chance to lead others but he has observed his father for his whole life and he has seen how he lead him, hence the reason why he wants a chance to lead others. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - He has amazing skill with a bow He knows how to stay hidden He would not crumble during close up combat however he is not the best He doesn't have a very educated understanding or experience with any other races Give us a description of how they look?: - Collie has brown medium length hair that flows down to the bottom of his neck. His skin is not tanned by any means but he is not necessarily pale. He has quite an impressive body build among men anyway being around 6'1. He doesn't have an excessive amount of muscle on his body but enough to say he's in good shape. He has a relatively thick heard however it does not stretch far.
