Character’s name: Leofrick Windsor Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Heartland Human Character’s age: 28 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Leofrick was born in his father's caravan passing through Raevir land on a warm sunny morning in mid-summer near the city of San'Vitar. His mother, named Aeila died giving birth to him and his sister, Elizabeth. They buried her on the side of the road where they had stopped not a fortnight after his birth, and they solemnly continued on down the long gravel roads of the wilderness. For the majority of his life, Leofrick was on the road, traveling from village to town to city all about Oren - trading and bartering with the locals. His family, the Windsors were a numerous and widespread family of traveling merchants and commoners of the land. At the age of five, Leofrick's father, Edwin began to teach him the ways of his ancestors, how to barter, trade, and teaching him about worth, although the majority of the time Leofrick was buried playing with his toys and caring little for his father teachings. His young life was happy for the most part. At the age of eight, Edwin had informed his son of the fate of his mother, and although taking a few sad days to himself, Leofrick got over the loss, and went on happily with his life. At the age of ten, he began to take slight interest in the ways of mercantilism. Edwin picked up upon his son's interest quite quickly, and began to teach him again his tricks. At the age of fifteen, Leofrick began to barter and sell himself, unlike his father, who sold housewares and trinkets, he sold farming equipment and tools, opening up a new market of gold for their poor family. As an increase of money began to flow in, Leofrick took some time to himself in a small town to stop a a bookstore, and he purchased a few poems and epic tales to read on their long journeys. By the age of nineteen Leofric became more and more independent from his father, keeping and not sharing the gold he made, slowly and quietly saving up to one day soon purchase his own caravan, and begin a new chapter in his life. As his father grew impatient and suspicious of his son's hoarding of gold, he questioned him one dark and cool night, although fiercely denying his horde, his father refused to believe him, and cast him out unto a street, abandoning his only son in a small village, and leaving for new lands. Quickly gathering his hidden chest, Leofric traveled to the village market, and managed to haggle his way to a small topless caravan, and an old horse, which he used to escape the village after three beleaguered days of sleeping in the old tavern. As he traveled down the long road to the next city, he encountered a walking group of men ahead of him, slowing to stop he encountered his cousins, which he had met many a year go at the very same city they were traveling to now. As he stopped and hopped of the caravan, he smiled and sat to rest, speaking with the family he had not seen for many years. As night dawned they sat around a fire in the road speaking of recent stories and those of the past. Come morning, the old horse that Leofrick has purchased had died, and so they began the long walk down that very same gravel path they had met upon years ago. As they approached the city ahead, the sounds of fire and screams could be heard, and they stopped dead in their tracks as a large invading force of orcs, under command of the green tide, were laying siege to cities about the south of Vailor. As Leofrick and his cousins took to hiding in the small forested land next to the road, they watched from a distance as the city fell to the Uzg’s raiders with ease, cutting down the small guard force. In an effort to save their own lives, Leofrick led his family back into the forest, and towards the city's docks. There they encountered the last of the surviving citizens boarding a large merchant vessel which was heading to the mainland. As they squeezed their way into the ship's hull, it embarked out into the sea towards the siles to rebuild their lives in a new and hopefully safer land. Personality Traits: Caring, Calm, Firm not Flexible on most subjects standing firmly behind what he or his family believes before the truth, Loyal to his family before friends and before his state, Serious on most topics, he also takes great pride in the way he dresses, and speaks. Ambitions: Leofrick wishes to one day gain a sizable amount of wealth and land, settling down with his family and relaxing in a library for the remainder of his life. Strengths/Talents: Leofrick is moderately built, a speedy reader, and is knowledgeable in the Dwarvish language. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Leofrick is deathly afraid of spiders, millipedes and bees. He is also forgetful, and at times absent-minded. When defending his thoughts, or speaking with a stranger some consider him abrasive, defensive or hhostile. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Standing at 5' 8" Leofrick has a moderate build, wavy brown hair, and a thick brown beard. He has Medium Blue eyes, and walks with an almost perfectly straight back. His gait is standard, and he tends to keep himself clean and washed to the best of his ability.
