(Please link past applications): - No. How did you hear about us?: - I used to role-play on another server but it shut down, so I started to look for another good role-play server, and I like LOTR I searched Minecraft LOTR role-play servers and found you. What do you think the server will be like? - I think the server will have lots of friendly people who love to role-play as much as me. I think the server will be a fun place, I can see myself being on the server a lot. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I have. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Role-play friendly skin, I hate role-playing with someone who doesn’t look the part. What is roleplaying?: - role playing is acting out a situation playing the role of another person ( usually fictional) What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is using knowledge gained OOC to help one’s self in game Character. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is doing something IC that your character couldn’t actually do or you couldn’t do IRL. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. (and sub-race if applicable): - Dwarf- Mountain Dwarf What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 53 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Before Argis’ only friend/lover Atalia died, he lived off the land, he had spent a lot of time in Dwarf towns but He never owned his own house and slept on the streets for the 2-3 weeks he stayed in the towns. Once atalia died Argis decided to Travel somewhere distant, somewhere he could try to block out the image of the love of his live dying before his eyes. After a couple weeks of planning, mourning and practicing his defense and offence with an axe, Argis stole enough gold coins to afford a boat ride to the closest dock to Kal’Urgan. On the long boat ride to this land his ship was attacked by pirates, the pirates were defeated but Argis sustained some injuries and was knocked of the boat. He managed to swim close enough the boat for long enough to be spotted and rescued. Once he had arrived at the dock Argis decided he should learn more about dwarves in the area and quickly learned about the things he considered to be important such as the first Dwarf-Orc war which he learned was called the ‘caravan war”. He also learned of a king, King Algrim who was being held captive by the undead but was rescued by an elite team of dwarves, Argis was disgusted to learn that King Algrim then betrayed the dwarves to become a minion of the undead. It was at that moment the hatred for the undead grew inside Argis, and he promised himself he would show no mercy to the undead. He learns of the success of the humans and dwarves siege on Krugmar. This isn’t the only thing he learns, in fact he spent the next few day researching the history of the dwarves here , his learning is frequently disrupted by a ringing noise in his ears which he often experiences but he has gained the ability to ignore it once it has started. Argis has many scars, some are noticeable some are not, but he can tell anyone exactly where they all are. Some of them are recent like the long scar on his back from the pirate attack, but most of them are from long ago and have started to fade. What are they like? (personality): - Argis is smart and strong, but he generally won’t talk to anyone he meets on the street, he especially wont share any information with anyone unless he is sure they are friends even if the information isn’t important. Although he doesn’t show it Argis wants to meet a pretty female dwarf just like him. If Argis is with a friend he is cheerful had has a good sense of humor, he is very musical and enjoys to sing although his singing voice needs improvement. Argis doesn’t have any dislike for elves, and will gladly welcome them into his home if they prove to be a friend and not a foe. Argis loves to drink ale but he does not easily become drunk. What are their ambitions?: - Argis hopes to find a beautiful young dwarf to live with, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of things he considers more important like: fighting if the ever is a great battle/war, or serving his masters if present Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Argis is a skilled fighter and a master blacksmith, he is also good at cutting down trees but he is a pretty bad swimmer and although he is a good miner he isn’t the best and lacks many skills other dwarves have when it comes to mining. Give us a description of how they look?: - Argis has blue eyes and perfect teeth, he takes pride in his medium sized neat brown beard, although his beard is tidy, his hair is messy but it is often hidden under his helmet. Argis is fit for a dwarf and is not quite as fat as most would expect. Like most dwarves he his short and stubby.
