If so, where?: - Tyrenale for a short while, though I've roleplayed on other games beyond minecraft and I will be honest, minecraft RP is fairly new to me as I've only done it for roughly 2-3 months. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - No, I have not. How did you hear about us?: - When Tyrenale went down, I was looking back into going back to old games to roleplay again. Though a few friends of mine joined this and told me of it, asking if I'd give it a shot. I said 'why not', and thus, here we are. What do you think the server will be like? - I think it will be a great opportunity to see what it would be like to be IC all the time, as on Tyrenale I feel it was very loose on their rules and the quality of rp was not the best interesting. The age one is nice since most players of MC seem to be younger, it allows them to join in and your community grow, though I also agree that IC all the time is a nice thing to add in as it sometimes forces RP (even that boring and crucial filler RP) when online. If it isn't forced, sometimes, the community might get bored and drift off the game. What is roleplaying?: - The playing of a character as if they were real with realistic actions and reactions to their environment. Though in roleplaying, you must be careful to not mix IC with OOC or become too attached to said character. What’s metagaming?: - Using OOC knowledge ICly though the character has never learned it through roleplay. What’s powergaming?: - Well, there are many versions of powergaming. Some are: Making a character "god-like" or "untouchable" in fights or actions. Doing something without and concequences. Doing something without the permission of another player (I.E. *Uppercuts him in the jaw* without having consent to hit, nor using a rolling system to see if he lands the hit, only assuming they did land the hit.) Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Born among the High Elves, she was always the strange one. She didn't take kindly to reading, but instead would stare into the flames of their fireplace at home, that her father would read by. Though inside Celi'ante, she would look about and around, finding pieces of brightly colored paper and tucking them away. She would save some up and shred it to bits to take and show her friends. Leaving trails of confetti everywhere she went. The other Elves didn't take kindly to her, as she'd rather watch the books go up in flames rather than try to read a single page. She was called a disgrace. Locked up in her house so that her father and mother wouldn't have to suffer from becoming the laughing stocks of the city. She never even saw the Silver City. Eventually, she left around the age of sixteen. Still not free of her childish ways even then. She hid her ears and only hoped to remain shorter and try to blend with the humans, whom she might fit in better with. She stayed with the Farfolk, since they might have accepted her more than the other's in a majority. Though at her final height of six-foot two, she was rather tall. She dyed her hair bright pink, to cover the platinum color her natural color was. She never liked those bland colors. She wore only brightly colored clothing, and made her own glitter and confetti with things she would find. She'd always have a few small bags of it on her, no matter what. She decided because people laughed at her anyway, she'd give them a reason to. She'd try to put a smile on people's faces, of those she didn't know as well as friends. This leads to her present self. She wants to become an elementalist strictly for the fire elementals. What are they like? (personality): - She always wants to help others, though sometimes her version of 'helping' isn't typically the most wanted nor helping at all. Such as: Someone's inside a building you need to capture? Light the building on fire. What are their ambitions?: - Live a carefree and fun life. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Loves fire and colorful things, so naturally she wants to practice alchemy and magic too. She takes things too harshly when she is made fun of or her friends are made fun of/hurt. Give us a description of how they look?: - Rather pale, though makes a dye from pink petals and other pink items to dye her hair with. Her hair is very bushy and bouncy, seeming almost like a cloud because it seems to have no gravity. She almost always smiles and has piercing blue eyes. Though for her age, her eyes haven't darkened with 'wisdom'. She looks rather young and childish, robed in bright colors all the time.
