Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft Account Name? It’s DreadGZ. How old are you? I am 19 years old. Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where? No, I have not. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications) No, this is my first application. How did you hear about us? I heard about LOTC from my cousin and from a friend. What do you think the server will be like? I don’t really know what to expect. With this application system I expect more mature and more serious people (community) who can/will RP and provide a great gameplay experience. Have you read and agreed to the rules? Yes, I have read and agreed to the rules. What’s the rule you agree with the most? I agree the rules about the Metagaming and Powergaming. That kind of stuff ruins the gameplay experience for everyone. Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain? Yes, I understand the rules of combat and what I can/can’t do as a villain. Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Roleplaying for me is when people together take an part/role in a bigger or smaller event/story and make an enjoyable gameplay experience for everyone. What’s metagaming? Metagaming is when you take information you got OOC and use it IC. What’s powergaming? Powergaming is when you overpower a person during a RP-interaction, but without actually doing so in a good RP fashion. When you say “ ran on the wall and spun in the air, to land behind his opponent. then eye-gouge the opponent, making him blind, before killing him with a knife through the throat.” There is no way the other person can partake in that interaction, making it powergaming. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called? Gah’zul. What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable) He’s an Orc. What gender are they? Male. How old are they? Gah’zul is 36 years old. Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.) Gah’zul lived in San’Orka back in Anthos, enlisted as a Brute in the Krughai army. After the fall of The War Uzg, Gah’zul went out into the desert and lived a nomadic life until the fall of Anthos. When Anthos was flooded Gah’zul and other members of the tribe traveled to The Doors of Eternity to help the inhabitants of Anthos fight off the Scourge. The inevitable end drew close for Anthos while Gah’zul and the tribe stayed with the last defence of Anthos. When the last inhabitants had fled through The Doors, the last defenders retreated through the doors. Settling in Krughanistan, Gah’zul with his military background fought in the great war in The Fringe. The illness Khorvad’s Grip began to spread and a truce was formed between the fighting nations. Gah’zul managed to avoid the plague as it wasn't as lethal as the plague on Asulon. After the plague was cured everything started to decay on The Fringe. The realm started to become inhabitable, desperate Gah’zul and his fellow orcs fled to the portal that led to Thales. With the rest of the desperate inhabitants of The Fringe they walked through the portal. After these harrowing events, Gah’zul became more tolerant of the other races and more humbler. But with scars of war Gah’zul went his own way, seeking adventure and understanding, but still true to his people and their ways. He vows to return to his people when duty calls. What are they like? (personality) Gah’zul, an orc true and true. Tough, loyal and full of honor, but after the events he became more humble and tolerant. What are their ambitions? To find a worthy opponent to battle with. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both) Gah’zul is like any other orc, a good combatant, crafter and hunter but hungry most of his time. Give us a description of how they look?
