    Skin Request - Gothic Gowns

    Hi guys! 

     

    As some of you may know I do skin, however shading the colour black gives me migraines and I’m feeling lazy so I’d love it if I could commission one of the many talented skinners LOTC hosts!

    As you can see it’s a pretty gothic vibe, so any dresses created would need to be primarily black with other more gothic colours to accent. I am looking for medieval – renaissance themed clothing. I don’t have any references or specific requests so feel free to use your own creative vision, as long as it captures a regal vibe!

     

    That being said and without sounding harsh, I’d like to skin to be of similar quality to my own work or higher. I would also like to pay with IRL money via paypal as I have no mina haha!

    Have you been previously banned (be it a forum or server ban) and under what circumstances did you receive this ban?:

    Yes, I got banned for metagaming against Wolfkite in Curon for 1 week. I can explain in more detail, however the incident occurred when I supposedly forced Wolfkite into combat rp with another RP group that I had no correlation with.


    Have you ever received warning points and what did you do to receive those points?:

    Moderating the forums is a very time dependent staff position. How much time, on average, would you be able to dedicate to moderating?:

    I have a lot of free time at the moment, during exam week it may drop to 1-2 hours per day, but any other time anywhere between 3-5 hours, and my phone is usually on me.


    Have you ever held a staff position here on LoTC? Do you currently hold any other staff positions? If so, list them and highlight something about the team that you enjoyed/enjoy:

    I was on the AT as a member for around a year altogether, on two separate occasions. I was also an AT manager for around 4 months. While I enjoyed helping new players and running projects such as the Skin archives, I believe the AT needed and still needs improvement. My interaction with new players was honestly one of the most rewarding things I did on the server, and those who were on the AT were some of the most hardworking, dedicated and friendly players. I believe the AT is a seriously underrated team and it's members deserve far more credit. I'm excited to see the changes Brit brings in!


    Why should you be a FM? What can you bring to our team in regards to moderating and enforcing the rules on the forums?

    I believe that I would make a good addition to the FM as I am very dedicated to the server and passionate about making it a better place. I think LOTC has so much potential to be a really great community, and if we can really make the forums great, the physical server can flourish from there. The forums are some of the first proper interactions new players get, so it's important we make it as amazing as possible. While many people on the server may not be my best friend, I have grown quite good at looking at things in a non-biased perspective. I believe this has stemmed from my work in customer service and also public speaking. I am quite outspoken, but have learnt to work through issues I am passionate about with staff teams and my fellow LOTC staff members, in order to reach a clear outcome.


    What traits do you have that make you stand out from any other applicant?:

    I am a good listener, others believe I am approachable, I am very passionate about LOTC issues, I am perseverance and dedicated to improving LOTC. I have experience in customer service and handling difficult situations.


    Are you familiar with ModeratorCP?

    Yes!

     

    How long do you plan to stay on the team?:

    As long as I can!

    Grim's Lore Team Application

    @CosmicWhaleShark Just because someone doesn't like someone, doesn't mean their evidence or reasoning for disliking them is invalid. It's two completely different things. Luv offered feedback and quite frankly from the way Grim responded to that in a drawn out forum argument which involved insulting her, I do not believe he would be a positive addition to the lore team. 

     

    Staff should be open to criticism without the need to insult others to defend themselves. End of.

    forgot the part where you ooc'ly targeted her. 


    I never used to get on with Violino, but recently I have gotten to know her better and believe that she has the experience and dedication needed to thrive on the ET. Not only is she friendly and approachable but is extremely creative, passionate and hard working. While, like pretty much anyone on LOTC's, past tenure during her previous run on ET may be regarded as some as negative, Kayla has clearly put a lot of hard work into the server and her app itself suggests this. Please add Kayla to the team, she'd make an excellent edition as an unbiased and caring staff member. +1
