What do you think the server will be like? - A server where you can set your fantasy free, and interact with other people that do the same in a friendly and funny enviroment. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I did. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - I agree on all of them, as they all sound reasonable. Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- The only thing I'm in doubt is about strip mining, as it doesn't hurt anybody in my opinion. Definitions These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of impersonating something you're not. For example, actors in theatre roleplay. They assume the identity of a person who is not themselves, and they act like they were that person. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the act of using OutOfCharacter (OOC) information while InCharacter (IC). For example, some bandits start robbing one of my friends, who sends me a message via skype telling me the coordinates where he is being robbed. If I "casually" go there and help my friend out, that's Metagaming, because my character would've never known that his friend was being robbed. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is the act of forcing your character acts on other people. For example, I cannot state *My character swings his sword at you, and your head is chopped off*, as the other player had no chance to react. But I can state *My character swings his sword at you*, as that's roleplay. If I write the reactions of the other characters, that's powergaming. Also, one cannot do actions that are over their character's capabilities, such as dodging every attack or cast a fireball when not a mage. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - Falgrim Strongarm What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Dwarf, Mountain What gender are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 62 Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Falgrim was born in Anthos, in the Southern Tundra, and lived with his parents in a lonely hut, near the top of the mountain. After going out to chop some wood, his father got gravely injured by a wild bear, and Falgrim hastily brought his father in the town of Vaerhaven, seeking for a healer. He found one, as a company of healers recently settled in the town, and managed to get his father healed. Having also brought his mother in the town, Falgrim talked to his father, and they decided to settle down in the city. The injury of Falgrim's father, though, never fully healed and he had to visit the healers every time, to check the wound and take some medicines. One day, the Order of the White Rose, for unknown reason, hunted the leader of the healers, and purged them out of the city, killing his father in the process. Angered and struck by grief, Falgrim wanted to hunt the White Rose, but was stopped by his mother, that didn't want to to lose his son. Falgrim and his mother abandoned the wicked city, no longer safe, and ventured back to their little hut. Unfortunatly, after three weeks, Falgrim's mother died of grief and sorrow. His old life destroyed, Falgrim seeked confort in the arms of his kin, venturing to the kingdom of Urguan. Falgrim survived the departure from Anthos and the arrival to Athera, and now settled in the mountains with his kin. Though his hatred of the White Rose order, and as he learned after, of the Chivays, never settled. What are they like? (personality): - Falgrim was always fond of his father and mother, and will often quote them when talking to other people. He doesn't like Orcs and is suspicious of Elves and Humans. His hatred of Chivays burns deep in his heart. Falgrim is one that loves good, strong dwarven Ale, almost as he enjoys the company of his friends. His father taught him to be respectful of Elders, as they are wiser than Falgrim is, so Falgrim will always listen to what an Elder has to say. What are their ambitions?: - Falgrim wants simply to settle down and form a family, to continue his father's line. At the same time, he wants to see House Chivay dead, but he knows that he's powerless to do so, as he's only one. Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Falgrim knows how to cut wood and how to handle an axe. He knows how to track animals and how to create traps. At the same time, he's suspicious of all races that are not dwarves, and he has a deep hatred for House Chivay. Give us a description of how they look?: - Falgrim, as most of the mountain dwarves, has short red hair. He's strong and well built, and has blue eyes.
