What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of taking on a role of your choosing in order to accomplish or otherwise live another life how you see fit.
What’s metagaming?: - The use of Out of character information in character
What’s powergaming?: - Acting out of the limitations of your character a(Radical example, A Human cannot up and fly away.)

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -
Sam was born in Abresi, a town in Anthos, his father was a great sailor but was never around to raise Sam, he was raised by his dear loving mother, and by the other children in his neighborhood. Sam was a street urchin, petty crimes were his childhood, stealing food and small jewelry to make a quick buck(Figurative buck.) Sam was always very outgoing and charismatic guy. Growing up he taught himself to sail a small fishing vessel while his father was out at sea.
Around the time he was eighteen Sam had received a letter that the ship carrying his father was shot to pieces and sunken by Pirates. So from that day forward he vowed to Keep his mother and his town safe from harm, anyway he could. He wanted to help the town grow and prosper, even if that meant doing bad deeds, he took to a life at sea, returning to his home every so often to check up on things. Eventually he met a crew of men willing to follow him wherever he went, no matter the consequence. Sam became a great leader of his crew.
Fast forward, him and his crew have grown a strong bond, they are out on their daily routine, fishing for hours on end may I add, when all of the sudden, the same Pirates that had sunken his fathers vessel appeared (Sam did not know this at the time for he was never told a description of the ship.) His ship and crew were wiped out in mere minutes, he was the only survivor. Washed up on strange shores what has now come to be known as Athera, badly bruised and weary, Sam made it a mission to return to his home.
Fast forward again and we come to today, a broken man with nothing but the clothes on his back and the thought of his mother, he has taken to drinking and gambling. One morn when the day was foggy and he was drinking at a tavern a man walks in and offers him a proposition, clean water to bathe in, and fresh clothing, the man offers Sam some amount of gold to get on his feet. He has a new ambition that doesn't include drinking his life way, He is going to return to the sea and find his Mother and his old home. (Little did he know that man was his thought to be deceased father.)
What are they like? (personality): - Adventurous and Courageous, strong and a willing leader.
What are their ambitions?: - To return to the sea and search for his old home.
Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - He is a born Sailor/leader, his weaknesses are the ladies and his drinking problem
Give us a description of how they look?: - Tall and well-built, bearded and will scruffy hair, his incident left him scarred in the right eye.
