The spirits of the Court of Fallen Shadows congregate, the tomb filled with centuries worth of corpses and death.
The Shadow, The Engraved, The Forgotten.
Figures lost in time, but now brought to back to unity.

The room is dark, barely kept lit by the dim red torches combined with the glow of the spirits themselves, they begin their meeting...

"Before this Court, there was another. The very beginning of our order. Some of us are founders, the others are new.... Let this meeting begin with the affairs of our kin, What spirits have we encountered that can join this order?" Said the deep voice of the Shadow himself.

"I have met none, our kind has become rare since the second coming of the undead." Added The Forgotten, his black eyes peering to those around the room.

The Shadow thought for a minute,
    "And what of any others?"

The lone spectre in the room, the Engraved, wrote on floating piles of papers, his dim blue glow brightening the room almost in it's entirety.
"I have met very little as well..."

    The Shadow speaks once more,
"We must seek these spirits out, then. Our numbers may be few, but we are stronger as one."

The Forgotten nods, releasing a deep sigh,
"I suppose I can seek others more... Often."

An old Dwarf, also the only revenant in the room sits, he speaks in a heavy Dwarven accent,
"The city of the Undead helped take over Khorvad."

The Shadow looked to the Revenant,
"We do not affiliate with the undead, nor the living. If there are those who have passed into our being, bring them to the Court."

    The Engraved, paused his writing,
    "Excuse me."

The Shadow looks to the Engraved, "Yes?"

"Athera will succumb to the same fate as Aegis if the undead continue to spread."

"Yes, that is true, and they may be a threat in the future."

"Then we must decide what we must do first, they have already conquered the Human and Dwarf kingdoms in their rise to power."

The Forgotten's form flickers before forming into a snarling bear, "We have none, lest we join their ranks, we have no power to fend them."

Lalkek responded, "I know what the Dwarves are doing about it."

The Forgotten's form flickers and returns normal once more.

The Shadow turns his head to Lalkek, "And what might that be?"

"They are planning on taking it back, and the Humans are going to help them. The Humans and Dwarves are going to try and get their kingdoms back."

The Forgotten looks back to Lalkek,
"And how does that affect us, new one?"

"Well, if they are successful, the undead will go. And the undead are causing problems. As what he said." The Dwarf points to the Engraved.

"We have no power over these undead, nor can we affect them easily." The Shadow said.

    "Exactly!" Lalkek raised his voice.

    The Forgotten seems unsure,
"What was your point in the Humans and Dwarves then?"

"The Dwarves and Humans do it for us, since we can not do it."

    The Engraved pauses once more,
    "If they should fail?"

"That is the inevitable, my brother. We have no place in their plans." The Shadow responded.

"They have tried and failed in the past, there is no if." The Forgotten added.

    Lalkek speaks once more,
"Then the next thing you know, they're taking over the Elves, then the Kha, then the Uruk. And then Athera falls!"

"But they can not affect us in those cases, nor can we change what is to come." The Shadow replies.

"So the only way it can be changed is if they succeed."

    The Forgotten sighs,
"Your entire plan revolves around them succeeding."

"It affects us because we live in Athera, and if all of them fail, Athera fails!"

    The Forgotten chuckles.

    The Shadow speaks,
"We have no power, as I've said, over these undead. The most we could do is seek out their secrets."

    Lalkek thinks,
"Okay, so let's do that. If we find out what they're gonna do, if we know what they're gonna do, we might be able to predict what's going to happen before it happens."

"How do you propose we do that?" The Forgotten asks.

"We can stay to the shadows, and listen for their plans to report to the mortals, and prevent any attacks." Said the Shadow.

"We will be caught, if we can find them that is, then we will be a target."

"There will always be a risk in our actions, and I do not wish to lose any of our kin to the light."

    The Engraved chuckled a bit,
"What are the undead going to do to us? Kill us then reanimate us again?"

"If they have gold, we can be affected."

"They can send us to whatever lies beyond here, if they can kill the dead, they can certainly kill the dead again." The Forgotten adds.

The Engraved looks to the Shadow,
"The undead are just that, undead. The gold will harm physical beings such as them three-fold than what it could do to us."

"The gold will harm us nonetheless."

"We can not fight them, especially with our few numbers." Says the Forgotten.

The Engraved thinks, before lighting up,
    "Wait."

The Shadow looks to the Engraved, "Yes?"

The Engraved smiles, "We can pin the undead against themselves."

"What plan do you propose to do with this specifically?"

The Engraved pointed to the roof of the crypt, to where the necromancer's tower would be,
    "Them... They can assist."

The Shadow seems to be intrigued, "Continue."

"They have the ability of raising their own armies... If a force as strong as theirs, plus the Dwarves and Humans, we may have a chance."

    "This is possible."

"Why fight them? They have not harmed us." The Forgotten adds.

There is a brief silence before The Shadow stands.

The Shadow slowly fades to the darkness, "Excuse me."

The Engraved holds a hand up as to signal a pause.

The Forgotten stares at his hand as it fades in and out of visibility, "These meetings bore me."

After a minute of silence, whispers can be heard from down the hallway.

The Shadow returns with another spirit, a poltergeist, and both of them sit down. "So if we must do this plan of yours, we must show them our presence."

The Forgotten repeats his previous statement,
"Again, I believe we should not fight the undead, they have not moved against us."

"If we are divided, then a vote is in order. Say aye if you wish to intervene." The Shadow says.

The Engraved thinks for moment of the possible outcomes.

There is a long silence, before the Forgotten eventually says something,

    "I vote nay."

"I feel as if we should wait, until they make their next move."

The Shadow nods and looks to Solomon, the newly arriving poltergeist.

    Solomon, unsure what to say,
    "Erm..."

    "What say you, brother?"

"I believe... We should make them fight for us instead. Though me just walking in here... I do not know what the topic is on."

"Whether it is in our interest to move against the undead." The Forgotten says.

    "We should wait then..."

"I believe if anything, the undead can be allies, not an enemy."

    "Allies... Yes."

"But either way, it is a long stretch."

"Then I believe we shall wait for their next move as well, and act from their motives." The Shadow says.

    "We wait."

"If we have no other business to bring upon the notice of the Court, then we shall close." The Shadow says.

"Anybody have anything? As I am content." Says the Forgotten

The Engraved shakes his head, "I move to ajourn this meeting."

"There is a motion to ajourn this meeting, is there a decent?"

"I agree to ajourn." Says The Forgotten.

"Seeing none, hearing none, I hereby close this Court meeting." Says the Shadow.

There is a loud thunder crack as he finishes the sentence, soon after, the ghosts depart, leaving the crypt in a deaf silence.
  4. I need my skin to be 'ghostified' it would be in the form of a Revenant, with pupils and black/white colouring. I figure the shading will be easy, just changing the initial colouring from what it is and swapping the palette.

    Clearing his Home

    -----------------------

Rzahnch sits at the aged, rusted, and bent metal table, watching the place that he and his family once built slowly start to break away, the stone becoming chipped and weak after centuries of being abandoned. The room around him seemed to be empty, only aside from a large cabinet, a chest, an old bed frame, with no mattress, all made of metal, and all rusting.

He looked down to the sanguine coloured carpet, time passed, and the dust finally settled over the elegant rug, it's beautiful golden trim coated over in a layer of gray, just as his fair skin had, upon his passing.

The Elf remained silent, looking about the stone and iron filled underground ruin, the only thing having kept the place lit for such a period of time being an aged glass jar of glowstone dust.

Suddenly, the large steel and iron doors of the subterranean dwelling creaked, Rzahnch turning his head. Light peered from between the cracks of the opening door, an amount of dust flying in the air visible. Finally, with an audible grunt of effort, the heavy metal doors sway open, filling the place with light, Rzahnch fades to the shadows.

"Ugh, what in the Nether? What's with all of this damned dust?!" One voice said.

"What did you expect Aron? The place hasn't been opened in forever." Another said.

The two descended the stairs peering about the empty room.

"Take whatever looks valuable to you, that means metals, gems, tools, and Minas." The second said.

"Yeah, yeah, I know the drill." Aron said.

They traverse the room, ravaging the storage rooms when one of them looks over to the table, noticing an old, brittle skeleton covered in dusty robes, this would seemingly be Rzahnch.

"Ew, that's gross... Is that who lived here last?" He said.

"Yeah, it probably is..." The other said, smacking the skull of the skeleton off with a swift flick of the wrist.

Rzahnch was outraged, watching these people invade his home, steal his possessions, and then defile his body, he slowly emerged from the floor before Aron, a look of pure hatred written on his ghostly face.

    "Wha? Who the?!--"

It was too late though, the spirit faded into the man's body, drawing the dagger from his waste before throwing himself at the other robber. The dagger implanted itself into the shoulder of the looter, he screamed out in pain.

    "AAGGH, ARON, WHAT THE NETHER?!"

There was no response though, instead, his yelling was replied to with a swift blade to his neck. The wannabe thief collapsed to the floor, grasping his own throat, nothing more audible but a shallow gurgling noise and his feet kicking against the stone flooring.

This was followed by Aron sprinting out of the door in terror, tripping over a stone and tumbling down into a nearby ravine, breaking his spine on impact with the hard stone.

Rzahnch stared in glory of the outside, wildlife having grown around his old home, shading over the sky he once saw into a mass of vines and leaves.

The steel and iron doors of the ruin closed and locked that day, but instead of the ghost staying at home, he wandered out, into the grove that his home now transformed into.

Arahaeldor stared intently at the metal helm, connecting himself to the void's power. His already purple eyes glazed over with a glowing magenta color as the helmet began violently shaking around. Arahaeldor concentrated, contracting the muscles in his arms, at that instant, the helmet in it's entirety began denting, the metal being crushed. The psychokinetic 'wires' attached to the helm slowly raveling around it. He finally released it, allowing the now ball-shaped chunk of metal to hit the ground with a thud.

How old are they?: - 57

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today?: - If you came seeking a sob story, look elsewhere. Arahaeldor was born and raised in the Mali'aheral district of Tahn'siol to Esteldaer (Father) and Idhrendis (Mother) Saeledhel. His family was a high class one, his father being a now retired guard, and his mother being a mage and scholar. One day as Arahaeldor helped his mother with groceries, they were cut off by an edgy looking Mali'ker thief. "Hand over your money o' pure ones," he said mockingly. "Or get stabbed!" The Dark Elf brandished his dagger to the two, a smirk coming over his face. Idhrendis frowned at the pathetic robber, twitching slightly. "Such a low being such as you deserves no reason to live." She said. "Arahaeldor, turn around and don't look back." The Dark Elf raised a curious eyebrow, nervously holding the blade up. "Hurry up now!" he shouted. The dagger slipped out of the robber's sweaty palms, facing back at him in a show of telekinetic magic. "What the hell? What are you doing?" he yelled, terrified. The Mali'ker attempted to run, only for his heart to be met with his own weapon, the only sound heard being a soft squish. "W-what was that, mom?" Arahaeldor said, never having looked away. "Telekinesis... A form of mental magic." His eyes widened in awe, looking up at his mother. "Mental magic? Can you teach me?!" She frowned, going back into her disciplinary mode. "No! Now take those vegetables back to the house... I've got to talk to the guards."

It was feats such as his mother's on this day that got him wanting to learn psychokinetic magicks.

What are they like?: - He is very studious, going out to the middle of forests to read books or study, just to get away from all the bustle of life within the city. He enjoys jokes, and telling them too, but tries to keep it to himself around other High Elves due to the immaturity factoring in it.

What are their ambitions?: - Learn Magic, Find an other half, become an important figure. Mostly what all others in the world have.

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses?: - He is swift and well educated, requiring concise information on a situation, no matter how minuscule, before doing anything about it. He is not a heavy lifter, and does not fair well in hand-to-hand combat.

Give us a description of how they look?: - He stands at about 6"2', very long, straight white hair and purple eyes. His skin is pale, but it still retains a golden glow.
