What is roleplaying?: Putting yourself into a character, and thinking the way the character would think. You have to stop thinking about yourself. What is metagaming?: Using OOC information to your advantage in RP. This isn't something realistically you would know. It's unfair to others. What is powergaming?: Forcing RP onto a person that isn't yours. At times, it's not a realistic action to do. For example: Guard of Abresi attempts to swing his sword at Assassin's right soldier. Assassin, in return, stabs the Guard in the neck before he can do anything. That's an example of powergaming. Forcing RP. In-Character Information Character’s name: Agnes Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 40 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Agnes was born in a carriage outside of Abresi. She was a decently sized baby, (weighed about 7 lbs and 2 ounces). Her life was pretty simple, at first it seemed like. She swept the floors in the tavern, cleaned the dishes, and made the beds. She rarely served anyone in the tavern, as her father said it was not her duty until she was older. When Agnes was 10, she found her mother in the kitchen with a knife through her stomach. This was devastating. She loved her mother, as Agnes had very few friends. Agnes mourned in her mother's death. Agnes then turned 15. She was a depressing child. Her Father drank himself to death, as he was depressed over her mother's death. Agnes took charge of the tavern in Abresi, she started business quite well. She made trades with Salvus, Kralta, and Ager. She got loads of stuff in, molasses, wheat, and spices. Business began to boom. Agnes continued her business over the years, and then the races left to the Fringe. She became so broke so fast, she now started living off the main road. She hunted for meat. Agnes now lives in a tent off the main road in Athera, towards the dwarf city, Kal'Agnar. Personality Traits: Agnes is a very polite girl, very beautiful. She has a good sense of humor, and she also is a friendly person to talk to. Ambitions: To become rich once more, make a business, complete her life. Strengths/Talents: She's very good at hunting and trading. She can make good offers to people. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She's not a fighter.
