Breaking this rule will result in a ban of 30 days (the amount of time it takes to change your name via Mojang). Impersonating a player/staff member will result in a more severe punishment.- In many ways, vulgar and offensive language is even more destructive than hacks are, and the results can be even more scarring, for these reasons and many others, I have chosen this rule. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Google. I searched 'Minecraft Roleplay Servers', specifically looking for an elven/the hobbit/lotr server- I guess I found it! Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of taking a character that is not yourself and making it do things such as talking, moving and fighting, in many ways, it is a way for people to express themselves. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of using outside knowledge during a game to the players personal gain, for instance, if you knew where the villain was camping during a battle, but your character did not, and you wrote something like this: 'Tom ran towards the enemy tower immediately, leaving his teammates (who had just arrived) dumbfounded. "Tom! We don't even know if that place is safe!" Jake screamed, his hand jolting towards Tom. Tom dodged the incoming hand and, regardless of his friends warning, ran into the tower, jumping over the arrow trap right by the door (that he didn't know was there but I (the player) did) and tackling the hyppogriff that was stood at the top of the tower' (hmm, not surprising, These characters knew nothing about this tower.) What is powergaming?: Also known as 'Powerplaying', Powergaming is the act of making the character you are roleplaying invincible, unrealistic or the like. Examples of this would be: 'As Vicky jumped into the air, a swirling gust of fire sprung to the ground in front of her rival, Liz stepped back as Vicky persued her, both girls locked in battle, but Liz merely had a sword, and Vicky had turned into a sorceress overnight.' It is common that powergamers make their sentences extremely long, but heavily on their side, not the side of their opponent(s). In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Laenuin Birchmoss Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: Elf (Wood Elf to be precise) Character’s age: 121 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Being a young elf, not much has happened to Laenuin, She was brought up with her mother, as her father was away so much, brought up to be disciplined, she never really did anything that she enjoyed, other than shooting a bow or reading, yet she loved reading about creatures of all shapes and forms, especially wolves, yet she possesses a keen love of horses, too, especially white ones. Laenuin also developed and interest in chemistry, physics and biology through books, and she wishes to develop her alchemy further. As a child, (Well- a VERY YOUNG one-) she had a white foal, whom she used to ride when her mother let her, yet the family was forced to sell the foal, resulting in Laenuin having little access to the outside world. Laenuin remembers many things that have happened in her lifetime, and has heard many stories from when she was young, about how The Silver Enclave of Haelun'or and its High Elven government were overthrown, and how The State of Laureh'lin arose from the remains of it, and about how, in 1183, Dark Magics were outlawed after the Ezekiel Cunningham massacres. Personality Traits: Laenuin is Keen, friendly, emotionally unstable, Flirty, Romantic, Dreamy, sarcastic, gentle, kind and strong, she has a fiery reputation, and will protect those whom she loves with all of her might. Ambitions: Laenuin would like to become a breeder of sorts, maybe a vet or such- reflecting her interest in animals and gentle nature. Strengths/Talents: Laenuin is great with a bow and arrow, and is very good at jumping from thing to thing, she is extremely agile and seems to have a way with animals. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Although great with a bow and arrow, she is reluctant to kill, unless she needs to and is easily knocked off of balance, as she is quite light. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Although Wood elves generally have dark brown/red hair, she has dyed hers a stunning bright red, she is tall, being almost 7feet, she is also quite light, 132 lbs- this makes her extremely nimble.
