  1. Deleted for the time being, currently editing my character. Sorry!
  2. I did post a character profile, but it's temporarily removed due to me wanting to change a few things. Work in progress. It'll be up soon.
  3. What’s the name of the Minecraft account you're applying for?: TomasWelsh. What's your MAIN Minecraft account name?: MuttleyJames. But I won't be using it any more. More is explained below. Do you agree to follow the rules on your new account?: Of course. You understand you can not be on both of these accounts at once?: Of course. You understand that if one account is banned, so will the other(s)?: Of course. Before I move on, I'd just like to explain why I'm creating this application. I applied a while ago on the account MuttleyJames (which I can prove is me), but left quite quickly due to personal reasons. Since then, I've made a new Minecraft account called TomasWelsh. I will longer be using MuttleyJames, and thus playing the same character that I've applied for before. When (and if) I get accepted, could you un-white list MuttleyJames for me? Here's my old application: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/88075-halflingmuttley-gwilin-telyn/#entry771478 In-Character Information: Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. I've changed a bit about the character, though not much. What's your character called?: His full name is Gwilin Telyn. What race are they (and sub-race): Human; Halfling. What sex are they?: He's a male. How old are they?: His current age is 33. Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Gwilin was born in a small village known as Ivybend, located in The Fringe, into a relatively poor, advanced-in-age family. He got fed twice a day, he made friends with the orphans across the way and his upbringing was split his two siblings and his mother, as his father spent a lot of time out on his job as a courier. As he grew older, and his family members gained more responsibilities to earn themselves a bit more money, he found himself wandering into secrets and locations that he should not have been, though most of the time he just heard rumours or instructions that he did not understand. Though, he also did start to hear more of the arguments his parents had. They argued about anything: money, the children, the crime in that occurred in the village, his father’s constant running around. It hurt Gwilin to see them not getting along, but he didn’t see it his place to interfere, especially since some of the arguments were about him, and the other arguments were hard to understand for a child, at times. In the free time Gwilin’s father had back at home, he taught his little boy how to hunt in the wilderness and taught him how to survive. He wanted what was best for his son, not wanting Gwilin to lead the relatively dangerous life he did, so he gave him this slice of advice: "Gwilin, you have the whole world before you. Go out and experience it. Be whatever you want to be." This has stuck with Gwilin as he grew up. Even as the arguments got worse, money got less and food came less often. Gwilin was 13 when his mother left home to head back to her home place. Faraelorn, Gwilin’s brother, went with her. So, in their absence, Gwilin, his father and Borthiel, his sister, were left. With the father’s job, he was still out of the house a lot, so Borthiel would be the main figure to bring Gwilin up for another four years, raising him to be kind-hearted, polite and always grateful for what he had. After some time, Gwilin’s father didn’t return from a job. Months of worry passed, and still he did not turn up. It was hard for the both of them to determine what happened to him. Did he run away like mother? Did he just lose faith, or find a better woman to start a better life? Was there an accident, was he killed? The two frantically searched for clues, and asked around who they could. All of this to no luck. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Borthiel, his sister, slowly moved on with her life. She met a husband and is relatively happy. Gwilin, at the age of 33, had some money, enough to survive upon. As his father wished, Gwilin up and left his village to explore the world, wearing his backpack full of food, water and memories of his home. He wasn't picky about what he ended up doing, just as long as it was helpful and honest. So, there you have it. The small Halfling stepped foot into Athera, a beautiful but mysterious place to be. He was scared, worried about what there is to come. He managed to pick up a small map. He headed straight towards the village of Gimblewood, a Halfling village. There, he hopes to start his adventure. Ambitions for the Future: Gwilin would like to venture into the world and meet new people, make new friends, etc. His true ambition is simply to have a good time no matter where he is or who he's with. Personality: If one had to pick a single word for Gwilin, it would be “optimistic”. He is constantly smiling, and has habits including whistling a happy tune, humming, wishing people a good day, putting a good light on bad situations, and breaking into small dances, usually while waiting in a queue or waiting for the sawmill to finish cutting. He never takes anything for granted, is always courteous and never forgets his manners. His optimism can get irritating to other people, and can mean he has further to fall from happiness when something truly awful happens, and that he is easily persuaded into things, as long as he’s reassured things would go well, but that’s all a part of the pure hopefulness he has. And though he is gullible over some things, he is not a complete idiot; he reflects, rationalises and evaluates situations to a degree, and usually has a slightly different perspective from most, due to his extreme positivity. He’s a relatively quick thinker, which is good for his hunting, though it does mean that he can jump to conclusions. Skills: He is fast and elegant while wielding a dagger, in which he uses when the situation arises. He's able to hunt small beings, such as rabbits and squirrels. He has the tendency of using small traps. Weaknesses: Firstly, he has arachnophobia. He's terrified of spiders, he'd never dare to go close to one. Also, he doesn't like change, so going on this journey is a scary thing for him, but he's willing. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Years of chopping wood and working at the mill has defined his muscles; perhaps not immensely, but enough to be noticeable through a thin shirt. His hands are rather hardened and rough from all the wood chopping, and he always has some dirt on his face and leaves or wood chippings in his hair. One of the features that stand out most is Gwilin’s irremovable smile, whether it is genuine or not. The only time it really goes away is if he’s heard some upsetting news from someone. His eyes look honest; a lighter-green tones hugging deep sage irises. He has a narrow face, with high, angular cheekbones and paled pecan coloured skin, with hints of pink. Any other details you wish to share about your character: Not as of this moment. I've answered every question in the new application, though there maybe a little difference in the placement of the questions.
