Character’s name: De'Zali Nieto Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Mali'Ahearal Character’s age: 78 (Elf years) Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Mr. and Mrs. Nieto were a lovely couple, they held fabulous dinner parties, exquisite dances, and were well-liked by all their neighbors. The couple was happy with their home, their possessions, and their friends. They wanted for nothing save for some thing, a child. They tried countless times, but the curse seemed to be even stronger with them than anyone else! They tried ad tried again but it was all in vain, not that Mr. Nieto complained but, he too would have liked a child sooner and at a much lower cost that they got. It was at the age of 448, when the couple began to worry. Soon it would be impossible for them to even conceive a child, and they wanted desperately for it. They tried and tried again, until one day, Mrs. Nieto Missed one of her cycles, it had happened! At the age of 449 she became pregnant. It was a miracle, almost unheard of for an Elven woman her age to become pregnant. And in fact, it may not have been meant to be. The child was born in the dead of night, the healer that delivered him was barely awake. He was born unhealthily thin and weak, he could barely lift his own head. They said he had only a 30% chance of making it to his next birthday. Devastated, his parents searched desperately for help. They met with an apothecary and begged for some cure to their son's deformity. He said it would be a shot in the dark but he might have something that could accelerate his muscular tissue growth and bring it to a normal level. However, there was a chance, a rather large one at that, that it would not work at all and it would end up killing their son. He would die either way then, they thought, and took the risk. Fortunately the remedy worked and their son was given a clean bill of health by the healers, they said he would live his full 1000 years without a hitch. And so he lived a normal life with a full family, until of course when the conflict between the High and Wood elves began. In the midst of an attack by the wood elves, De'zali's father was killed. They were forced to leave their home and find a new life elsewhere. De'zali was left to be the man of the family and provide for his mother and himself. After hearing the miraculous story of his birth, he decided to take up alchemy. He worked as an apprentice for 50 years before his master was killed in an act of violence by Wood elves who burned his shop to the ground and butchered the man. After that, De'zali still needed to provide for him mother, who was now growing ill from some disease he could not make a cure for. He set off on a journey, to seek out help and make enough money to pay for it once he found it, leaving his mother in the care of close relatives and trusted friends. Personality Traits: He likes to experiment, not only with alchemical ingredients, but socially as well. He does not like to fight, given his scrawny stature, but if he must, he will most like lob a potion at you or drink one to give himself an edge. Ambitions: He aspires to one day create a brew that will cure any and all known diseases, but he knows before that he has much to learn Strengths/Talents: he has spent a good few years studying different herbs and mushrooms in the wilderness and can Identify just about any ingredient you put in front of him. Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is physically weak and because of this he is more likely to cower in fear over a strong enemy and submit than he is to fight back. I beleive that people should keep that stuff to themselves and it has to place being openly emoted in places where there will be unwilling onlookers. He plays a wizard character on the server. In-Character Information Character’s name: Dorian Whyte Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Highlander Character’s age: 19 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Dorian Whyte was born into a humble family that made their living working on their farm. They grew wheat, barley, some vegetables, and they owned some livestock. Life on the farm was a dull a dreary existence for Dorian, every day was the same, till the fields, feed the livestock, and so on and so forth. He hated his boring days, but oh how he adored the nights. Every night before bed, his mother would open up an old tome filled with songs about legendary heroes and epic quests, she played a lute and sang, her voice soothed him to sleep every night without fail. He loved those songs so very much, that he began to sing them during his work time, and sometimes he would even dance to them, making up the steps as he went along. However, soon the book ran out of new songs to sing. His mother was out of new material and many a songless night would pass before Dorian hatched himself an idea. He would write his own music! He asked his mother to teach him how to play her lute, and began to make up his own songs. He wrote a new song every so often, and played them for his mother. She loved his songs, she thought they were beautiful, but for some reason, Dorian was never satisfied with himself. The songs were never as epic or fantastical as he wished them to be. He wrote and wrote, and played and played, but no matter what he could never get the just the right notes or words to come to him. Until one day it hit him, in order to make an epic song, one must live an epic life! And that is exactly what he intended to do. He left behind his life on the farm, and with him took his mother's lute and his ambitions. He would return one day... but not until he had lived an epic life, and had written the perfect song about it. Personality Traits: Charismatic, willing to do anything that might make a good story, honest to a fault, hopeless romantic Ambitions: He wants nothing more than to write the perfect song about his life and to bring them home to his mother. Strengths/Talents: He is a fantastic entertainer, he can dance, sing, play the lute, violin, flute, and is quick at picking things up. Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is always trying to write the perfect song, and will do anything that might prove a chance to to so. If you ask him to go with you to a cave or a dungeon, chances are he will go without a single question, regardless of the danger.
