    The Wronged:

     Morul Irongrinder

    The Assailant:
    Brynaelda Grandaxe

    The Wrong:

Insulting of The Wronged’s honour by calling them amoral, a poor teacher of the arcane arts, and thus disrespecting Ogradhad by disrupting the teaching process; dishonouring Belka by preventing The Wronged’s apprentice's passion for learning and his interest in the arcane and finally calling The Wronged a Heretic when such is false in all senses of the matter.

    Date of Wrongdoing:

14th of the Sun’s Smile, Year 6 of the Second Era.

    Terms of Settlement:

A public apology to a crowd with The Wronged present to witness such,

Or an honour duel in a place chosen by The Wronged with each side being able to choose a champion to fight on their behalf. ((OOC: PvP))

After an initial investigation, The High Courts of Urguan have deemed that the Morul-Brynaelda Honor Grudge has been called upon with an ambiguous basis, with no clear assailant in the greater situation. Let it be set in precedent, in perpetuity, that the generalized slander of one's character in a private setting is not cause to enter your grievances into the hallowed book that is the Book of Grudges. This grudge shall not be entered into the Book of Grudges, and Morul Irongrinder is instead implored to seek justice via a fair trial under the High Courts of Urguan for the charge of Slander, as described in the Codex of Laws of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The accusations of heresy placed upon Morul Irongrinder by Brynaelda Grandaxe, Prelate of the Dwarven Clergy, shall be investigated separately by the Dwarven Clergy and shall be either dismissed or re-affirmed.

    Narvak oz Urguan!

  2. Never thought I'd see a thread I relate with more than this one.

I was diagnosed with ADD in 2nd (US education system). For the span of 10 years after that, I was almost forced took a drug called Vyvanse for it, which is sort of a lesser known (at least at the time it was) version of Adderall. As time went on, the drugs that doctors had insisted I take to fix my attentiveness were making me extremely depressed. By the time I got to High School, it seemed like everyday was the same for me; I'd get up, go to school, and then go to bed. My social life tanked, and because I couldn't connect with friends, the depression and self-loathing worsened, and so I just stopped caring about every other aspect of my life. On top of this, I had no reason to believe that this behavior wasn't normal, so it made me feel even more isolated. I was fed the same two points of information; If I took the drugs, I would be more attentive and be able to do better in school. If I didn't, even the smallest amount of schoolwork would seem overwhelming, and frustrating. It wasn't until my Junior Year (11th grade) did I realize none of what I was experiencing was normal, so I rejected any further prescriptions for my drugs. Ever since then, its still been an uphill battle. ADD/ADHD is a tremendously difficult thing to live with, on and off medicines for it. And everybody has had a different experience with it.

  3. I personally feel like like there has been a massive disconnect in the way the Administration deals with situations. I understand that Administration can’t please everyone, but as it stands the team just seems to act outlandishly brash to situations, before proceeding to push it under the rug. The "code of conduct” that the administration wants everyone to follow is getting completely laughed at when you allow things like this to happen.

  4. Dwalin Irongut, upon hearing the news, would quickly read over the news once again, disbelief filling his thoughts. After a few minutes of sitting in deathly silence, he’d raise a glass of ale.

”Farewell, cousin. Ah can onleh ‘ope tuh live up tuh da legacy yeh left behind, but ah know ah’ll seh yeh soon en da halls ov Khaz’A’Dentrumm.”

  5. Dwalin Irongut nods upon reading this, and looks harshly amongst his fellow Magistrates. He’d take a quill, dipped with ink, and begin to write a letter to be charged for every dwarf that should read it

”Let it be known that the High Courts of Urguan find this grudge ultimately justified and approved, and find the Rexdom of the Krugmar entirely responsible for the actions committed today on dwedmar soil, for the cost of dwedmar blood. Yemekar save their souls; Mercy will no longer be shown. Justice will prevail.”

    Signed,

Dwalin Irongut, Chief Justiciar of the High Courts of Urguan

Kazrin Starbreaker, High Remembrancer and Grudgekeeper Magistrate of Urguan

Norli Starbreaker, High Prophet and Religious Magistrate of Urguan

Gimgrimmor, King’s Hand and Civil Magistrate of Urguan

  6. Following the passage of the Gauntlet Act within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, it is found necessary that,

at the approval of the Dwedmar under the eyes of Yemekar, the following document is established, to maintain

a state of justice and peace within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, established by and for the Dwedmar people.

  7. Dwalin Irongut, Chief Justiciar, upon hearing word of such from the mainland of Arcas, shakes his head “Funneh ‘ow d’ey duh d’is while da Council an’ leadehship ov da nation es en Athera..” He’d grumbled harshly from under his beard “Da courts will convene upon da return from Athera.” he’d say coldly, beginning the first of many letters sent off via bird.

  8. I'm sure myself and the rest of the old players here can attest to this- This has been an issue ever since Flam has taken lead of the LT. Transparency between the LT and the playerbase was thrown out the window, and not even some LT know what the hell is going on with Flam. Since 2018, Flam has made it painfully hard to do ANYTHING concerning Magic and Lore submissions. I'm glad Jandy has brought this up, because quite frankly, enough is enough. Somebody in the LT needs to step up, and look at what's wrong with the team to take it from Flam's hands. Please, for the love of the gods..
