What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I like that the war machines and other things actually have to follow the rules of physics and can’t be crazy and convoluted. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): My only concern is what you define as “strip mining”. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was told about it by a friend who suggested I apply. It sounded interesting and the lore is stupendous so I thought I would give it a try. Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is a form of game play or entertainment that involves taking on the persona of a character in a pre-established lore or story. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is a strategy that is implemented outside of actual game play to essentially break the game. You use info gotten by out of game means like a second character in an enemy camp, or a friend in the same situation. What is powergaming?: Power gaming is forcing other players into situations that would give you an unfair advantage, like saying i bind your hands and feet and duel you for all your money. It could also be like running up to someone saying I stab you in the eye and you are dead. It would be something that breaks the game and ruins it for others. In-Character Information Character’s name: Relnor Norean Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Dwarf Character’s age:45 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): The story of Relnor Norean is a tragic tale he was born in Kal'Alras to his father Graygeous Norean and mother Lernor Norean. His mother passed shortly after childbirth which sent his father into a depression of many years. In his depression he lost his faith and became greedy and self centered mining all day for precious gold and gems but turned up empty handed most of the time. The gold he did find he used to feed himself and his son (mostly himself). While he somewhat resented his blaming him for the death of his wife he cared for him all the same, until one day the man did not return home. Relnor looked ever where, he checked the tavern his father frequented and all the inns but could find him nowhere. Fearing his father ran off he went to the home of his great uncle who he knew by only the name Gelionor. He told Gelionor what he thought was going on. Gelionor pondered a moment and with a look of gaunt despair he asked the boy had his father gone to the mine that day. A search party was formed hastily and they searched the shaft his father frequented. After many hours a dwarf came waddling back to the mouth of the cave clutching what looked like a broken bloodied pick axe. Relnor could only stare in horror at what he saw and finally he asked who the axe belonged to hoping that another dwarf went in today. The tired dwarf could only lower his head and offer his condolences to the young lad. The later investigation found that Graygeous had wandered into the cave drunk after a rowdy night at the tavern and accidentally collapsed a support beam in his drunken belligerence. That however was not the story told to the young boy by Gelionor. He told the boy that his father had run into a group of undead hidden in sealed chamber and had sacrificed his life to save the town from the horror of another undead attack. Relnor would go on to be raised by his great uncle who trained him in not only the skills of a miner but those of a warrior. Relnor worked in the mines for years always remembering the courage and bravery of his father. He had for many years tried to find a way to bring honor the name of his family for the sake of his father, who some seemed to think was just some stupid drunk trying to get rich. Relnor after many years finally found out about the dwarvin legion, he wished to join and honor his father’s memory by ascending the ranks and making his name sake famous and well known as keepers of balance, but he still had a long way to go before he could make it to the capitol and join the legion and make his father proud. Personality Traits: Strong nerves and a fearless heart from his tragic life, brains from teachings by his great uncle, and an uncompromising will to help those who need it. Ambitions: Get to the capitol and climb the ranks of the legion. Strengths/Talents: Strong, great at mining, blacksmithing, a great swordsman, and a decent tactician. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Extreme fear of anything to do with the undead (including books, stories, and anything else to do with them). While he his good a tactics and identifying ores he is somewhat dimwitted in things like writing and he is only semi literate. Somewhat small he was stunted a little (believed to be from the trauma of his childhood). Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He is shorter than most dwarves, but muscular with a little bit pudgy around the gut from his endless eating but very strong none the less. IE. if you were to focus on getting 6000 diamond blocks and ignore other players and roleplay altogehter only taliking in ooc to beg for materials.
