What is roleplaying?: It is the acting out of a particular role and creating emotions and feelings of that character.
What is metagaming?: It is using information that your roleplay character would not know whilst in character. Eg: Knowing somebody’s name without asking them IG.
What is powergaming?: It is where you extend your characters abilitys without considering what skills they would have. It also means that you have to allow for another player to defend themselves from one of your attacks.
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
Character’s name: Silas O’ Donagon

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Silas O’ Donagon was born to a terrible family. Lycian O’ Donagon, his violent farther, favoured him over his brother. Silas lost his brother at a young age to the child slave market as his father gave him away in order to pay for his ale problem. When he was old enough to leave the house on his own he began to gather resources for his quest. He wanted to find his brother Davlin. He knew his life would be filled with hardships and difficulties but even the slightest chance to find his brother made him fight on. He began his search at the city of Kal'Karaad as he had heard rumours that a group of dwarves had appeared there claiming to have escaped from slavery.
Kal'Karaad was not successful and the dwarves that had appeared there were little more than a vicious scam. He continued onwards to Cerulin, A province of the Oren empire. After several days of searching every building for any sign of his brother an elf with the name of “Eldwehn” approached him. He said that he had heard of his brother, He explained how he had met him whilst staying in a small inn.
Silas followed Eldwehn to the inn, excitement building. His entire quest had lead up until this point. As they neared the inn Silas broke into a sprint calling his brother’s name “Davlin!”. A shirtless dwarf was sat at the back of the tavern surrounded by empty glasses of ale. The two dwarves started at each other in awe before running to each other and hugging.
Personality Traits: Silas is a cocky dwarf. He is always bigging himself up to the other dwarves and always out-doing his friends. He is also very bossy and enjoys controlling other people.
Ambitions: He strives for adventure and loves to quest with his fellow dwarves. He would love to join the army/military. On the other hand he loves to drink with his brother and working behind the counter in a tavern is another one of his goals.
Strengths/Talents: He can down many pints of ale before he gets tipsy. He is very literate which enables him to be good at conversing with people of high status. His weapon of choice is a battle-axe and he has got much training with it.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is terrible at talking to women and he favours conversing with men. He is fairly short tempered and when people get on his bad side he struggles to control himself. His brother can always manage to calm him down.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Silas is approx 4ft 5” and he loves his height. He has very muscular arms due to him wielding a battle-axe. He enjoys drinking ale so he is a little bit fat.
