Character’s name: Iren Granel
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Half-Elf
Character’s age: 19
Biography: Iren lived a normal life up in a small village in Athera, growing up he wasn't very social mostly because he was bullied because he was a "mutt", thus he doesn't like large groups. Up until the night his parents were killed by assassins, he became interested in magic at the age of 10 and started studying to be a paladin, after his parents died he was forced by his uncle to go stay with him, who ran a small tavern. From there he was forced to work, hardly getting to study. With a abusive, and ironically, overprotected uncle, Iren never made many friends (although he did have a few relationships with a few barmaids) and never got any real combat training.
But at the age of 17, his uncle died in a fire which was caused by a drunk. While trying to save a child, a board fell on his shoulder. Because of this he cant do to many things with his left arm. Despite this, he traveled to Petrus to begin his training as a Paladin. He trained all through the rest of his teenage years, struggling, but ultimately prospering. He became a guard for a merchant caravan, healing the sick along the way. After a year he began traveling even more, becoming a traveling mercenary/healer. He vows to help everyone, or everyTHING, no matter the situation. This became a problem a few times, landing him either captured for with a broken leg.
Personality Traits: Kind; a bit self praising at times but all around selfless; gullible at times; easy to anger; sticks up for friends; retaliates a lot; shy.
Ambitions: Wants to be a famous paladin or guard.
Strengths/Talents: Always scouts a fight before fighting, fast, light sleeper, gets work done eventually.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Procrastinator, tires easily, can be easy to anger, trusting, tired easily, claustrophobic.
