How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:
I was doing some research and it was one of the first to pop up along with A'therys Ascended for roleplay servers. I applied on A'therys Ascended and later found that it was not much RP it seemed to me more like a place to hang out. I have played for a few years on there and barely experienced RP on it. So I thought it was time to try to learn the ways of actual roleplay and gain some skill in it. Lord of the Craft was next on my list so I hope that it is a great RP server.
Definitions:
What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of fulfilling another persons role in another world/another time.
What is metagaming?: Using outside knowledge from the game, an example would be the rule on player deaths and waiting 30 minutes before going to your death. You would have to act as though you didn't know you had died there.
What is powergaming?: Powegaming is when a character always wins this would never happen I.R.L., powergaming is when the player states their action prevails without the other defending their own.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Daylor Taris is a wood elf of the age of 48 who lives in the Tinuvial Homestead in the State of Laureh'lin. Daylor lives alone in this town with not too many talents, but like the rest of the race he has a love for the woods and their nature in them. In his free time when hes not attending his job as stable hand Daylor can be found wandering the near by woods, sometimes losing himself in the wonderful sights and smells. Now diving deeper into Daylor's personality: One day he heard a scream in the woods, so he went towards the sound he saw it was a young girl back against a tree and a bear baring down on her. He thought quickly and drew the bears attention, running, he took aim at the bear and fired. However the bear did not go down. He headed back to the main house yelling when he entered the clearing, the bear went crashing to the ground and the girl was saved. Daylor may not be the strongest elf but he keeps to the wood elf ideal of protecting the young, even though he himself is still not an adult in the eyes of his pears.
Daylor is a local stable hand but he only does this to obtain money for food and his secret project. He has seen the old craftsmen and their wonderful display of skill and talent. This he knows will be taken only over time, so he sets to work when he's not wandering the woods or helping groom and feed the animals. He is in his home practicing how to become one of the great craftsmen of old even though he will probably not succeed. However these were not always times of peace. He still remembered the stories of brutal battles that his father told him of and how once the human king perished in a pit of lava his men retaliated and began pillaging town after town all until the current leader decided to make peace and every elf living in this province once free from human control, should be grateful for the peace and quiet. Although Daylor and many other elves are unhappy about being under their control they all learned to live with it. So, after the wars many of the elves returned to their peaceful lives, Daylor included. However there are those who still wish to protect the elves and joined the Order of Sirame. And with that Daylor has been written before you as a common elf trying to strive in this world and grateful for what his forefathers have done for him.
