It is a natural occurrence for our internal tribes to descend and ascend in power, a

waving balance that keeps all those under our rule in order while the leading tribe necessarily remains untouched and unwavering in their absolute power. It is with this, that we deem the Sugarfoot Tribe of Ghanyah illegitimate, the Chieftain of this tribe losing all titles for proving inefficient in the job he was meant to uphold - the complete protection and necessary preservation of their tribe and all those under them. We do not force the Sugarfoots out of our land or force them to split their tribe whatsoever, we only seek to make it clear that they no longer are a officiated tribe in our dominion; the lands given to them during their Ascension being returned back to the Crown of Ghanyah for use that would benefit our nation.

The 1667 Usurpation of Ghanyan Legitimacy

    14th of Malin's Welcome, 1667

Since our official creation on the 9th of Grand Harvest, 1646 - We have stuck true to our promise to protect the interests of those  who are not allowed a culture, a voice, or any sort of clarity as a group of races and ethnicities. Many nations have risen with the promise to display the various Farfolk peoples in a light that shows that we too, can form together and create great nations. Many kingdoms have risen with that simple promise; some have fallen and some remain, but none have kept true to the promise as efficiently as the Chieftaincy of Ghanyah. Our mainland hosts a majority of Southerons, but other Farfolk have thrived in our glorious nation aswell - though their culture has independently been upheld without inappropriate or unwanted mixtures whatsoever. It is with this important information that we declare our leader, and those descendant from him, the Protector of all Farfolk; The Protector of the Qalasheen, Subudai, Southerons, and Easterners alike . A title that has been claimed many times over both entirely and separately, one that we seek to keep and protect in our near and far future. With our usurpation of this title, the following regulations and declarations have been placed to define that we are more than claimants.

    • We are upholding the private agreement that we have long established with the orcs of Krugmar, the deserts have been apart of their nation for hundreds of years and although we have converted to the true faith of Shamanism, we understand that to infringe upon their sacred land is a risk and we thank them for allowing us to co-exist despite this. With this being said, we formally send a warning and denouncements to all settlements, both dependant and independent, who refuse vassalization and conversion from either us or the Warnation of Krugmar; with the risk of discrimination on an international level. Your citizens will be killed on sight if seen inside the lands we deem ours and your settlements will be raided and pillaged until you reconsider your ignorant choices.

    • We enforce the same fate upon all who dares lay claim to the titles listed in this decree, be warned now that if you are considered as a claimant to all we hold true; prepared to face the wrath of the true haven of the various Farfolk races. Further ethnic divisions shall be established around the land of Ghanyah to fit the needs of these various cultures and ethnicities, the chosen leaders of these Havens being given the landed title of 'Ras'.

    • We promise religious protection to all denizens who neighbor our provinces  and agree to vassalization and citizenship. Although shamanism has proven itself as a faith, enforcing conversion upon those who serve our interests mirrors a dark form of the faith that we do not wish to embrace. Other faiths that do not break the rules or oppose the values of our nations are allowed should you attain citizenship in our nation.

    • We formally denounce the Sultanate of Haria for infringing on the granted land of our vassal, Kharmandal. We met with the Regent of Haria in serenity and he chose to refuse all realistic terms that we displayed before him. In accordance with our national relations, we now consider the Sultanate of Haria a formal Rival and Enemy of Ghanyah and enemy of all denizens of the farfolk due to their infidelity, disrespect, and overall disdain for our culture as a whole.

As of recently I've been scouring the forums for any information or lore I can find on Southernos. Though it's culture is spanned into some subcultures which would include small minor tribes and some inactive subcultures, there isn't all that much intel that essentially generalizes- labels their culture and people unlike their lighter skinned farfolk counterparts. Despite the generalization of Southernos under one culture is possibly considered a slight issue (though not as relevant), I feel as if there needs to be some solid lore on Southernos, let alone lore that is available to anyone who wishes to make a character of this race (NOTE: not referring to Mountsidian lore which is a subculture to Southernos). If anyone can respond with any helpful tidbits of old Southernos lore posts or anything related to Southernos (excluding any subrace information) that would be p helpful! I'm only saying this cause I've recently made my second Southernos character and despite going off of regular farfolk lore, I haven't a clue about actual Southernos lore; even though I've heard from some sources that the Southernos are solely based on African culture.

I'm running the Chieftaincy of Ghanyah that Vorgraven referred to, pretty much African, tribal sort of culture, if you interested, add me on discord (appie#9684 no capitals) or send me a pm on here.

I would say that given the current OOC environment, if you were to have him, if he could maintain a reasonable distance from conflicts involving Renatus and Human nations in general would be advisable. No hate, just concern. +1 for Elf GM

Yeah I emphasized that in the application, I can see why the people above are concerned about that. @Capace had trouble quoting your post, dont know why, but yeah I wouldn't intentionally make bias decisions but I understand the concern which is why I am saying I'd stay away from conflicts with human nations.

You clearly don't know what happened between him and Charlemagne.

I was at fault and so was he, we'll leave it at that. No need to hang onto the past. Neither of us have brought it up or held grudges over what happened, I've never had any issues with him after and I haven't caused him any issues. Also what happened between me and Charlemagne doesn't apply to what he said, it seems clear to me that you don't know what happened between us. I'd rather this not become a thread about all of that so it'd be great if we could leave it at this.

Have you ever held a staff position on Lord of the Craft? If so, for how long?

Why do you want to join the GM Team?:

I really do enjoy helping others. I know it's a very generic reason but as a kid when I was 14/15 first thing I'd do when I'd join a server is see if they're looking for staff, and no, it's not because I get perms or anything of the sort, It's just the satisfaction of answering a new players question or resolving a quarry between two players. A lot of the time on the server I stick around CT, rp there a bit and help out new players by answering their questions etc. Honestly, If I was to become GM, I'd probably spend more time online than I do now. Ever since I joined the server I've been hoping that someday I'd be able to become GM but I never felt I was on the server long enough, I mean, you have GM's who have been playing as long as the server's been up. Now I'd like to talk more about what I could bring to the GM team. If I was to become GM, I'd like to make it clear to everyone that I would not interfere/act as GM when it involves a quarry between my friends irp and irl, as I believe there is somewhat of an issue regarding bias, whether this is done consciously or subconsciously I feel like it would be for the best if both sides feel like the verdict was unbiased, I know I would. I'll keep this short because in the event that I am given a trial I'll probably be asked questions and I'd like to save some of my good answers for then. In all seriousness though, it'd mean a great deal to be a GM on this server.

Have you applied for this position before and been denied? If so, link the application:

    N/A

Anything else you want to tell us?:

I was inactive for a couple weeks which I know could result in negative feedback but I had irl issues, everything is sorted out now and I will be able to be only much more, perhaps even exceeding the average play time I put above. Another thing I'd like to emphasize because I know it could also bring negative feedback from opposing parties (irp), I can guarantee that in the event that I become GM I will avoid accepting tickets that involve some sort of disagreement between my group and another party as I do not want to tarnish my reputation and be labeled as a pocket GM. Hopefully this clears things up for anyone who would oppose me becoming GM for this reason as I only would like to become GM to help the server and not to benefit my friends irp.

There comes times, in which I, Adelard Brandt, of Vrakai and Braband, am not present, in the city of Belvitz. Therefore as a ruler, I must appoint someone I can trust to uphold the greatness of the city in the times of my absence. I have decided that my dear brother, Geoffrey Rozier Brandt, who already has a claim to the most prestigious city of Belvitz, should act as the ruler in the times that I am absent to rule myself. Geoffrey is a fit leader, and I believe he shall do well in the times of my absence, in assuring the welfare and happiness of the commonfolk.
