Ilaria mourns the peace she had loved, in that once-quiet merchant town.  The only sliver of solace she had was that the chaos didn't spread to her quiet sanctuary of a hermit shack.  A weary sigh left her as she contemplated her little tattoo parlor within that bustling town.

It is technically harassment and supporting toxic voices to jump in to spam vague references a player made initially in reference to be banned by harassing me.  The meme of Walter White screaming helplessly in a car is an obvious reference to being silenced/muffled as if you're some martyr preaching "truth" which was lying about me doing cheap ERP and abusing lore to SA my friend's character.  The pic was spammed to any reference about the awful drama around myself or the lore or the banned player's comments.

Femur's contribution was small, but it was still contribution to making LotC feel like an incredibly hostile and unsafe space for me.  I don't solely put all of the blame on this on him, because this was something done to me by a lot of people--a lot of them oddly associated friends of both him and you, not as if that is any damning evidence.  But your argument of "gossiping friend discords" feels like it should be related to this too.  I received a lot of evidence of people spreading disgusting rumors and lies about me in chats I wasn't in, so I can only imagine what other stuff has been said that I've missed.

It's just thoughtless and harmful to jump on a bandwagon like that, and it's only made me feel like Femur's still that same person due to his incredibly dismissive demeanor in response [more images will be added below].  Staff members should be held accountable much more on how they conduct themselves on the Forums and other LotC mediums than regular players, which is why I feel like Femur wouldn't be a mature staff member in my eyes.

I was incredibly hesitant about making a comment on this thread due to the amount of awful anxiety that drama was for me to endure.  People I loved and respected for years were so quick to spout lies about me and do whatever they could make me out to be a villain for the benefit of their RP.  That crippled my mentality and made last summer one of the worst ones of my life.  I ended up distancing myself greatly from the server after a loss of a family member to suicide, because I knew I didn't want to end up like them because of what I went through.  I'm glad to say I am better now, but those mental scars still exist.

People just need to be more thoughtful to others.  What was probably nothing of a meme post you made, was something monstrously different for me.

Ilaria had arrived at the clearing with Rhys' guidance, a pit of dread festered in the lavender elf's gut as they tread through the dewy foliage.  They killed her. . . echoed in her head, the grieving words of that distraught priest who guided her now.  The green of the wood unfurled into a crimson scene, framed by broken souls that mourned the loss of their Queen--who was now cradled in a bed of bloodstained flowers.

What chaos has been sowed this day?

"Sokar. . . take her gently into the Stream," Ilaria uttered in prayer beneath her breath as her hand grazed over her gleaming necklace of shells and beads.  One fragment of solace could be obtained amidst this tragedy, and such was knowing that the Queen's fate would be a blessed one; graced by the light of the Skies.  A rarity in her line of work.  That is, of course, if she even welcomed the embrace of the Ending and didn't join the messy fate of countless others she was born to witness in stagnation.

As more filtered into those woodlands to mourn the Queen, Ilaria found herself lingering off to the side of the clearing; blended into the cool shade of the tall pines and within the ferns.

She witnessed her there.  A regal woman, opposite of the clearing who lingered amongst the side of those mourning her passing.  Grief nearly twisted in Ilaria's heart, though her worries were immediately transformed into consolation as Amaya's attention turned up toward the Heavens.  It happened quicker than a blink.  For she was gone before that lavender elf could even realize it; her fate was beyond the realm of mortals now.  At peace in the Skies.

A lavender elf wracked with fatigue, and with her sleeves stained with blood, stared out into the windswept snowfields that the Ruthern Hold loomed over.  Villorik had just rode off, in search of Laelia; leaving her alone with that poor woman who had been mere inches from Sokar's embrace.  Only a miracle had stabilized her.

She stood as quiet as a forest would after having been ravaged by a merciless storm; left in the wake of grief and turmoil.  All she could do was reflect.  The chill of the air hardly disturbed her anymore, for something greater had left her numb.

"If you would have let me strike her, there would be no more of this matter.  Both lives could have been saved," uttered something within.

"She is lost; to strike at her would kill any chance at hope!  She would only be scarred," uttered something else within.

Ilaria closed her eyes and relinquished a heavy sigh.  She was silent.

Again, I'm not trying to put anyone down for my comment ;-;

I've always really enjoyed the forum competitions CT members have done with those themes, they're perfect places for players to show off their talents and try something new.

But seeing builds for IRL holidays and finding items with descriptions of "from the 2022 holloween event!" (paraphrasing) just feels out of place for the server.  Major holidays like Halloween and Christmas are w/e because the whole community usually partakes in that stuff naturally due to how large those holidays are made to be IRL.  I'm pretty sure lore for a comet that passes by every few decades was even written to make "Krugsmas" more lore-friendly for the server (though I can't remember if it was accepted or not).  Either way, I usually kind of just ignore that stuff in RP anyways.

It's great to see OOC events formed to bring players together such as movie nights, ect - but if an event is to be done ON server, it would be nice to see it be more beneficial for RP and suitable for the server's setting.  Like encouraging players to visit other nations and interact, maybe a screenshot competition could be had - like find the best cinematic shot, or see who can take the coolest group photo.

Once again, due to the comments above thinking I am complaining over this its honestly not a major deal, I don't care if this changes or doesn't.  I don't see why there is any reason to genuinely get salty over people making an effort to bring others together.  There's a difference between healthy criticism and just plain disparaging comments.

Is it me, or has it always felt weird to see IRL holidays and events like these coming into the server?  Not to diss anyone for their work to try and do something fun for the community, but it's always felt jarring and out of place to come across this stuff in game
