Wulf may be confused with something that happened in a similar fashion to my character. But, no, this is IRL.

She's suffered from MD all her life and has been on medication that made it near impossible to get preg. However in hopes of having a child, she's been off her meds and suffering, trying to carry a child for a few years now. 

When your past the first trimester, chances of miscarry decrease dramatically, so its like a checkpoint for us.
