The family grew up in modest backgrounds, living a middle class life in the nation of Salvus. This family had no particular skills, but a particular ambition, a drive to leave behind the modest life they had come from. Elvedui initiated this ambition in his family after witnessing the work that an experienced alchemist had done, weaving the symbols of flame and water to transmute a tool for himself.
