In-Character Information Character’s name: Eros Elibar'acal Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: 39 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Eros is a member of the ancient High Elven "Elibar'acal" family. During the discovery of the Isles of Vailor, however, Eros - being naturally curious - decided to part ways from his bretheren and go off to explore and learn the ways of this new land and the other races coming to inhabit it. Upon his travels, Eros spent much time studying from different libraries and temples across the land, from the far northern Salvus University, to the southern Caliphate library, Eros picked up much information regarding the cultures of the world, as well as the odd (though rare) book of Arcane study, which seemed to peak his interest greatly, it was around this time that Eros attempted to first return to his family though was swiftly interrupted by the Duke's war; the journey to the Haelun'orian lands was far too dangerous with the ongoing skirmishes and military action, causing him to remain stranded south, not daring to pass the Iron Uzg at such a troubling time. Following the war's conclusion and the fall of Adria, Eros once more set foot on his journey back to his kin. Years spent on the road made Eros quick and wise, then the plague came. It began with a human coughing and sneezing outside Felsen, then as Eros progressed southwards, he encountered more and more of the sick until eventually catching the disease himself. Fortunately, he was within proximity to the Cloud Temple and rescued by a band of monks, nursing him back to health until the plague's end. Now that Eros is healthy again, he wishes to continue his quest and discover what new-found purpose his family may hold within the silver walls of Haelun'or. Personality Traits: Eros is an articulate and intelligent young high elf - balanced, fair, contemplative and adaptable. He has been informed, cultured and enlightened by his travels; additionally giving him an altered perception of the races and life beyond the High Elven society. Despite holding some former prejudices he is considerably more tolerant than others and possesses the boldness to challenge those with a strict elevated vision of their kind. In addition to this he is a considerably daring and idealistic being, his expectations of himself and others often set beyond their capabilities. Eros is best described as a creative free-thinker and prefers a more solitary life. Ambitions: Eros wishes to learn the ways of the Arcane, re-locate his family he'd parted with those years ago and to grow to find a place within the city of Haelun'or. Strengths/Talents: Eros is intellectual and well studied from his travels and has shaped himself into being a quick and cunning individual. Physically he is light and thin which helps him stay fast on his feet. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Eros lacks all physical strength and obtains no useful skills in combat. He can be distant and while he is a passionate learner he is rather useless beyond knowledge - especially in times of conflict.
