I found out about Lord of the Craft from the extremely well made video detailing the history of the world, made by your official YouTube channel. I really enjoyed it and all of the other trailers and tutorials, and I couldn’t wait to become a part of the server! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of becoming a character, and interacting as that character with other players doing the same. This can involve responding to situations or events that occur in the fictional world. What is metagaming?: Metagaming occurs when a player uses information gained from a source existing from outside the game ( i.e. from a chatroom or Skype call), thus giving yourself an advantage in a battle/event going on in-game. What is powergaming?: Powergaming occurs when a player overpowers their role-playing character (i.e. giving them Deadpool-like regeneration abilities, allowing them to regrow their severed head). This is a terrible practice that can ruin a role-playing experience. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Bronn Emory Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Human (Heartlander) Character’s age: 25 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.) Born just one year prior to the treaty between the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the Reformed Kingdom of Oren, Bronn was coming on the age of nine when his people migrated to Vailor. Cunning yet short-tempered, Bronn killed a peasant boy in an alley adjacent to his home in Felsen using only a shard of wood from a keg of mead. He was caught by the city guard, and he stated that he did it in self-defense, though it was only for the emerald ring the boy had found in an abandoned tavern. Bronn’s father taught him how to swing a sword, and use a shield, but Bronn was not proficient enough to join the army or town guard when he turned eighteen. During the usual trip to the merchant stalls, Bronn’s father was held up in the street by a guard patrol, who then arrested him for treason against the crown. Terrified, Bronn fled back to his home only to find his mother’s lifeless corpse slumped against the door, and all of his possessions gone. Bronn rummaged through his father’s ransacked bedroom, and found his family heirloom, a bastard sword with the image of a bear carved into the hilt. He took the sword, and fled the city on a steed he found in a stable outside of an inn. After over seven years, Bronn finally returned to Felsen, bearing cheap armor, and still carrying his father’s sword, he rode into the city. After waiting out the Duke’s War, Bronn looks to becoming a sellsword. After asking around, it looks like there’s no mercenary work available, so Bronn settles in, questions about his father’s treason still burning in his mind. Personality Traits: Ambitious, independent, stubborn, intelligent, Charismatic. Ambitions: Bronn aspires to become a soldier in the army, or to become a well-known mercenary. Strengths/Talents: Good at analyzing people or surroundings, strategist, persuasive, moderately skilled in combat. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Hot-headed, hateful, impulsive.
