Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A Dryad is a female wood elf that goes through a process called: The Blossoming. The Blossoming is a process where a female wood elf can hear a call of sorts. They then can choose either to ignore it, or follow the call. Most of them ignore the call but if they choose to follow it then they should start on a journey. After walking for days, weeks, maybe months. They'll come across a tree. It'll be something like love at first sight. They will want to sleep with the tree, stay with the tree, do everything with the tree. The Dryad will create a bond with the tree, as if it was apart of them. They will start weaving dresses out of its leaves and even turning the color of their tree. If their tree dies it turns into something called an amber seed. This seed can be planted and will grow into a tree at a exponential rate. The Dryad can choose to leave the amber seed and stop being a Dryad. This will throw them into a deep, deep depression. After about a year the amber seed will turn to stone and crumble away, not allowing them to become a Dryad again.

    Transformed form:

    Atronach

    Creator's MC Name:

     Lhindir

    Creator's RP Name:

    Griselbrand__

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

An atronach is an arcane construct, created with transfiguration, elemental evocation, and conjuration. An atronach's appearance and abilites are determined on what elemental evocation is used to create it. To break it down, atronach's are basically a long term conjuration spell that is played by a player.

The creation of the atronach starts with a core. This core is made out of a large mana gem that is incased in Arcarum that is then enchanted with the morphon spell that combines the evocation with conjuration. This core is also cylindrical, different from a golems.

There are also plates that are bound together with the core. These plates define the beings size and shape. They don't cover all of the creatures body, they merely provide a guideline. These plates can be made out of any material, most of the time they are made to suit the atronach's element.

If a familiar's core is depleted of mana the evoked element will disappear. The core and the plates will fall to the ground, staying stationary until mana is resupplied to the core.

The atronach that I will be playing, an electrical one is very diverse. This atronach has the ability to utilize electrical blasts, charges, sparks, etc. Though these things take a rather long time to unleash. These atronachs also cannot call a cast down, as that takes too much energy to actually use. A big downside or a big advantage (it depends how you look at it) of this atronach is when a plate is heavily damaged or broken, the electricity in that area spews forth, shooting out arcs that could damage both friend and foe.

Atronachs can't actually cast things. They simply expel pieces of their body out at enemies. For example an earth atronach could shoot its finger at a fast speed but it could not form a rock above a person.

An atronach has multiple weaknesses, one being it's core. If this core is damaged or drained of mana all voidal energies will disperse until the core is either repaired or recharged.

    Redlines

A familiar’s casting is very limited, and must be an ejection from its own form. A stone familiar cannot form a rock above it, for example.

Only the following magicks can be used to create familiars: Conjuration, Alteration (Transfiguration), and one of: Water Evocation, Earth Evocation, Fire Evocation, Electrical Evocation, Air Evocation, or Arcanism.

The effects of damaged plates must be roleplayed.

Typical Familiars cannot be larger than seven feet.

Solid’ familiars are the only type that can easily manipulate physical objects, though ‘liquid’ familiars are far superior at casting.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?:

    Water Evocation

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Water Evocation is explained thoroughly in multiple books. It is like all evocation. You have to spend a great deal of time understanding the element before being able to summon it. It can be used in all 3 forms. Gas, Solid, and Liquid. It can even be frozen. It's usually called the most simple evocation but it's very manipulative.  The caster also needs to know everything about the element. How it smells, tastes, feels, even how water moves. That means the evocationist has to study the element down to the last detail. There are big downsides to this magic. Like all types of magic it makes you fatigued and it isn't very useful in combat.  You also can't control bodies of water that already exist in the world. It also can't be used to create sculptures. Back to talking about fatigue. A tier 1-2 water evocationist may be able to summon a water droplet but they would feel extremely tired and they have a high probability of passing out. Hopefully this shows that I have a good understanding of water evocation.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Sarya cast her tired gaze over Sutica’s sea, yawning some as she does. Her eyes slightly widened as she heard the familiar rustling of the leaves, smiling. She turned around, wide agape.

    “Glin…. Oh, you’re not Glineth.”

Her eyes wandered over the Dryad with little interest, promptly turning around, looking over the sea. It was a beautiful day. The birds were chirping, it was nice and cool, the sun felt comfortable on her skin. After waiting for minutes the dryad still didn’t move, keeping her beaded gaze on the lady.

The two of them waited. Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours. Sarya stood up, looking over the dryad with a perplexed expression.

    “You’re still here, why?”

She crosses both of her hands below her chest, staring at the Dryad and awaiting an answer.

“Why do people call you the Ice Princess?”

The Dryad mimics Sarya’s stance, making a rather uncomfortable scene.

    “I use Water Evocation.”

She states rather simply, looking over the dryad with calculating eyes. The Dryad’s expression turns into one of confusion. Sarya sighs before speaking again.

“I can create water and ice using magic. That’s the simplest way to explain it.”

    “C-Can you teach me?”

The Dryad blurts out, still staring at Sarya, more with determination now.

    “Come, sit with me.”

She turns around, sitting down. Her legs dangle off the edge of the wall. The Dryad moves over, taking a seat next to her.

    “What is your name?”

    “Agapi.”

“Tell me, Agapi. Do you know how to swim?”

    “N-No….”

    “Well you better learn quickly!”

She says with a heinous giggle, pushing Agapi off the wall and into the water. After a few minutes of loud shouting the soaked Dryad walks back over to Sarya, fuming with anger.

“I wanted to learn magic, not swim!”

The Dryad shouted at Sarya. Sarya giggled to herself for a few moments before shifting around in her seat to stare at Agapi.

“How did the water feel, Agapi?"

“It was cold… Why does that even matter! This has nothing to do with magic!”

“It does.” She says with a click of her tongue, looking over the Dryad. She pulls a small book from her satchel, moving to hand it to her. The title reads ‘Water Evocation’.

“Memorize this book and while you are doing that you must figure out as much as you can about water. You have to understand it completely. Once you have done that, I’ll start your next lesson.”

The Dryad nods, rather thrown off. She turns around, walking away while leaving a small trail of water.

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning:

Voidal feeling is essentially gaining knowledge about a object with mana. The caster pushes their mana into the object to figure out more about it. They have to know how much active mana an object can hold, forcing them to do multiple calculations and other things before they are able to figure out more about it. Once they have figured out how much mana an object can hold they can begin to figure out more about it. They push their mana into the object and they can gain some knowledge. At the beginning the caster can only gain some basic knowledge. Normal temperature, what the object is made of, boiling point, freezing point, states of matter, etc. Once they have used the magic for quite some time they can begin to gain much more knowledge. They can get all basic knowledge from an object, figure out what each temperature stage does to an object, figure out how to fuse items (etc iron and coal would make steel), understand what an object is made from, if it is made from multiple materials of course, and they can even begin to sense a faint magical presence, if the object has one. It works more with arcane then with a dark or deific presence. It takes an extra emote to actually sense this presence.

Cervitaurs are half deer half human creatures that serve the aspects. They have an affinity for Cernunnos because of their similar traits, beasts, the wilds, and chaos; The natural order. Cervitaurs also have an innate ability to commune with nature, setting them apart from druids. They also can't learn any types of magic. Once a Cervitaur dies it's body becomes a tree, growing until finally bearing a peach. Once the peach has 'ripened' the tree dies, leaving the peach. Soon after a new Cervitaur comes out of the fruit, retaining some memories of it's last life. Cervitaurs are also very cautious of the descendant races, also mischievous. Cervitaurs are entirely gender-less and cannot breed. However when a new cervitaur is born they are formed with multiple different characteristics which may lead them to look more masculine or more feminine. Cervitaurs serve the aspects more in faith then magic, albeit they can connect to nature and speak to beasts. The first of these creatures were found in Athera

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    History:

Golems, also called stonefolk are living constructions, made from a magical 'core' that is buried deeply inside of the golem. Golems are some of the most mysterious constructions ever, the oldest records of these constructions go back to ancient asulon from the scribefolk. They used golem bodies/arms/legs because they didn't wither with age or time. The scribefolk sought after immortality and they wanted to transfer their mind into a golem body. This lead to the discover of Soulbinding. where a soul could be bound to a golem core. After some testing the scribefolk figured out that it was just an alternate and less reliable source of power for the golem that didn't actually bind the mind and personality of the dwarf that created it. They then began to use necromancy to try and move a dwarfs mind into a golem. They were 'successful' but the golem just thought that it was the dwarf and it basically copied memories and other things from the dwarf, believing those memories to be it's own. Soon enough the experimental golem began to descend into insanity, becoming a monster that rampaged around until its mind finally broke and its core imploded, killing it. The records of the scribefolk end their, perhaps they died to drakes or one of their own crazy abominations.

Next comes Aegis. This method of golem creation was uncovered by the braveaxe family. After generations of research into the anvil of Kal'Urguan by the braveaxe family, and much experimentation and failure. Thorix Braveaxe, Gotrek Fireaxe, and Hiebe Irongut managed to create a golem. The golem, Grey Vigil, was unstable at first, but was ultimately a loyal ally of the dwarves. It fought beside Thorik in many battles. Until Thorik was forced to give it over to the Undead Prophet Fryste in exchange for the life of the nephew he was sworn to protect. Grey served Fyrste as loyally as it had once did with the dwarves, turning aggressive as a result of being in the Undead realm of Drauchreichq and soon became a problem for Thorik. While this was happening, the golem slew many aegisians under the belief that it was serving its new masters. Many people survived Vigil's inept attacks. One man in particular, named Floop Lightforge, survived repeated attacks but rather than being scared or swearing to destroy it, it gave him inspiration. He wanted to create such an entity himself. Thorik couldn't send the dwarven legion after one renegade golem but he knew Vigil had to be stopped. With the master smith Gotrek being the new grand king, he commissioned Arbrek Starbreaker to forge a golem to defeat Vigil. Arbrek was eager and soon got to wrok on the troublesome task of creating a new, stronger golem. Realising he needed a mage, and with Hiebe Irongut off battling the undead, Arbrek sought the aid of a young Human mage and blacksmith called Merrigan. Merrigan was ambitious and realised that, by being adept in both blacksmithing and magic, he could craft a golem, albeit an inferior one, without Arbrek at all. Merrigan constructed a golem body of his own without Arbrek's knowledge and made the secret creation of two soulbound cores. Then, one night. Merrigan struck. He knocked Arbrek unconscious at the golem forge, and using the cores brought both golems to life. Naming them Amipher and Maldeo, Merrigan left, with both golems loyal to him and him alone. Eventually Thorik decided the new golem was taking too long, and sent the Dwarven bounty hunter Rohgan Greyhammer to find and destroy Vigil. After a long hunt and several encounters, including a battle at a coronation of the now Grand King Thorik Braveaxe, Rohgan trapped the golem atop the ruins of Wrath's clutch. Rohgan was unable to match the Vigil's strength. Bloodied, broken, and near death and defeat, he threw himself at the golem, unbalancing it an killing it. Arbrek created a new golem with the help of a new mage, Salamandra. They named this golem Raiga. Soon after the news of Vigil's death reached them and with Raiga no longer needed to kill Vigil, the two mages parted ways. Raiga seemed more intent with following Salamandra so Arbrek gave the golem up. Vigil's core somehow survived the destruction of his body. Gideon Silverblade, a noble with a keen interest in golems. He fixed up the golem and soon figured out about its violent nature. He used it to keep his enemies in check. Soon, the golem attacked Gideon's infant son. After fleeing from the Galahar manor the golem was badly damaged and was encountered and attacked by two bandits. They easily overpowered him and eventually disabled it. The bandits were servants of the undead sorceror, wrath, who, using his undead magics, restored the golem to full strength and returned to it its knowledge of its old undead masters. Vigil went on to fight for the undead in many battles until it was finally and permanently destroyed by the Orcish golem hunter, Dretus.

    Next is Anthos

When the new people traveled to anthos, the anvil stayed in the possession of the Dwarves. It was put deep in the halls of Kal'Azgoth, in a room only accessible to the Master Smiths.

This opportunity came about through the scientist by the name of Aisu Swain. Aisu was in the employment of the VonSchlichten Engineering Company. He was very interested in dwarven mechanics and the like. He often visited Kal'Azgoth to study those mechanics. On one of these trips, Aisu was studying a restricted Dwarven lift. He suddenly lost his footing and fell to his doom. Landing on the stone below, killing him. Aisu reached out to the only object he could see. This item was one of Farren Starbreaker's lifegold soul gems. Upon dying with the lifegold in his hand, Aisu's soul was put into the gem. It was discovered by Barvek Grandaxe, who brought the corpse and the gem up into his forge. Many days passed as the trapped soul lay in the forge. Until one day when the merchant Toveah Goldman came to the Dwarven Smiths requesting a golem that could be made for him. The Smiths accepted, having been promised immense amounts of gold. They began to process with vigor. After a few more weeks a team was made of smiths and golemagi consisting of Farren Starbreaker, Barvek Grandaxe, and Kalen Forseth, and Tortek Golemforge. This group went into the chasms of Kal'Azgoth where the mighty anvil lay dormant. After hours of labor, Farren uttered the words of life, and the mighty golem Apex was created. Apex was promptly taught basic commands and then sold to Goldman for the sum of 10,000 minas. Apex stayed with Goldman for two years before the merchant perished and Apex returned to his Impera, Farren.

    Real Explanation

Golems are creatures that are made by a golemancer and a core along with a body. Golems are usually large and very slow, being stone and all. They serve an impera or 'master'. Once they are created they only know one word, Impera. They don't know what it means, they only have one drive. To serve. They also don't have a vocabulary. A golems mind is at it's strongest when it has just been created. Usually the first instructions they hear are embedded in them for their entire life. Golems do not heal like normal people, any damage to their body is permanent until fixed. Golems are also, very loud. Stopping them from doing anything stealthy (ETC: sneaking up behind someone and snapping their neck.) A Golem that doesn't have a master should find life unfulfilling. If that is the case they usually choose the first person they see to serve. Golems aren't necessarily dumb. They are simple constructs that live to serve. The few golems that do speak have a limited vocabulary and they are completely oblivious to wordplay and things like that.

How did you learn this magic(s)?: Despite conjuration being one of the least practiced magics, Sarya still strives to learn the magic. She’s captured and vivisected multiple animals and she has multiple diagrams of the dissected animals. She has also studied water evocation so she has already connected to the void (In no way does that mean that conjuring will be easier) . She also owns a copy of haadi mubdees conjuration book. She reads the book nearly every day in an attempt to memorize its contents. She also attempted to seek out a conjuration mage but she had no luck.

MC name of OOC overseer (Note: they must either have a TA in this magic on any character or be a member of the MT): N/A

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning: Conjuration is the art of creating an entity inside the void and then bringing it into world. This entity can vary. There are four types of conjuration. The first and mostly used one would be morphon conjuration. This is the art of creating animals or living creatures. The next, more rarer one would be perennial conjuration. This is the practice of creating plant life. This next one is Primordial conjuration this uses evocation alongside conjuration to make a entity made out of an evocated element (it varies depending on the type of magic known). Hybrid conjuration is used by experienced conjurers. This type of conjuration creates a hybrid creation. An example would be a wolf with the teeth of a poisonous snake. Conjuration is one of the

most draining types of magic because you have to feed your summoned entity a large amount of mana in order to keep it in this world. If you choose to sever the connection the animal could disappear in multiple ways. Some choose to make it disappear back in the void but you could make it turn to dust and then disappear or make it be sucked back into the void

    Example

Sarya closes her eyes and concentrates. Her eyes are screwed up in concentration as small beads of sweat begin to form on her head. After a few moments those small beads of sweat are replaced with rather large ones. Sarya opens her eyes and shifts her gaze on a small patch of grass in front of her. Wisps of purple would erupt from the ground, moving up and forming a small white mouse.

This is only one of the ways you could summon the creature. Most choose to create it wholly from nothing. If you wish for a more flashier creation you could make it come together one by one. First a heart and other organs before the bones and the fur/flesh.  Once the creature is summoned it is under the control of the creator. Summoned creatures will feel pain but will continue their task no matter what.

    Tier Progression

    Tier 1

At this tier the mage will focus on connecting to the void. They should also be dissecting and vivisecting animals in order to prepare for later summoning. They also are to draw diagrams of the animals and keep them on hand.

    Tier 2

Now the conjurer should be able to summon small creatures and plants with relative ease. The creatures are usually the size of a mouse or a bundle of flowers.

    Tier 3

The conjurer at this stage is adept. They are between student and master and can easily make smaller creatures like mice or some flowers. They’ll struggle with creating larger creatures such as wolves or a bush. Conjurers at this stage can make one or two of the larger ones and three of the smaller ones per day. It also depends on the size and the length of the creature. Near the end of this stage the conjurer can make smaller hybrids. Such as a mouse with the ears of a dog.

    Tier 4

The Conjurer has been studying years to get to this point. They are able to summon smaller creatures easily and they can begin to summon bigger creatures easier such as bears, trees, deers, and sharks. At this point they can make one or two larger creations a day and a large amount of smaller ones. They can also begin to make primordial conjurations which are beasts made of a certain element . You need to have an evocation to be able to do this. They can also begin to make average sized hybrids.

    Tier 5

Now a master of conjuration they are a master of all of the above. Now being skilled they can create larger hybrids such as a bear with venomous teeth. They barely get fatigued from summoning average sized creatures and even some large ones.

What magic(s) will you be learning?: Fire Evocation

Link a MA of a magic your character already uses that is in the same archetype as the magic you are self teaching: N/A

How did you learn this magic(s)?: Sarya has read multiple different books and I've also seen multiple examples of fire evocation. Hopefully this proves I went out and questioned these mages. I also included a screenshot of my character lighting their hand on fire to better understand how it feels. There's also another one where she lights a rose on fire to smell smoke.

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning: Fire Evocation is like all evocation. It is the art of evoking fire from the void. It's also called the most simplistic type of evocation. The most time consuming part of learning fire evocation is learning about fire’s properties. How it smells, feels, etc. That’s why it takes people a really long time to cast. They have to focus on that before they try to cast. Of course like all magic once you begin you will be extremely fatigued by casting. It will lower as you go higher in tiers but even a master still feels fatigue when casting..

    Tier Progression

    Tier 1

During this time the person should be trying to connect to the void. They should also be trying to better understand fire. Near the end of this tier they can begin to try and cast sparks.

    Tier 2

When reaching this tier the caster knows the basics of fire and they know how to summon it. Casters at this point begin to perfect their magic and they will be able to send the fire to it’s location most of the time

    Tier 3

The mage at this stage is able to conjure fireballs and they can control whether it is explosive or not. They can also begin to control the temperature of the flames

    Red Lines:

    You cannot ignore fatigue.

Do not emote controlling real world elements. Casters are only able to control evoked elements.

Molding a flame is something that shouldn't be done until tier 3. Even if that shape is crude

You can't control your fire to a fine degree, unless you combine it with primordial conjuration.

Make sure to role play casting appropriately. I.E don't instantaneously summon a flame underneath somebody from far away.

You cannot evoke in areas that you can't see.

Provide evidence you've a proper means of learning this magic(s): http://imgur.com/gallery/ue6WQ Books and screenshots of examples. I have more screenshots of books if needed. Sarya’s also in the enchantry so she can ask questions if needed.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: Gravens are semi-corporal beings. People sometimes call them ghosts, while they are a sort of spirit they aren't like ghosts. Gravens are more like spectral's because they are bound to the area that they died in. Gravens are created if these two requirements are met. If they person has a task left that they want to do and if the person dies a gruesome death. Gravens have to complete some part of their task every once in a while or they will fade away. Gravens are weak to the following: Gold Weaponry, Iron Weaponry, Holy Magic, Fi Magic, Shamanism, Alteration, and Enchanted Weapons. Gravens are also weak to sunlight and too much exposure is deadly. Gravens have multiple appearances. They can be made out of green or blue flames, a black skeletal frame, rotten skin, and a simple corpse. The eyes of a Graven show the trapped soul of an individual and if someone would look upon them they would become temporarily paralyzed. When a Graven's task is completed they will die and if they neglect to do their task they will die. Gravens are usually seen with armor and a weapon though the armor and weapon are usually in bad quality so the loot is limited.

Link a MA of a magic your character already uses that is in the same archetype as the magic you are self teaching: N/A

How did you learn this magic(s)?: Sarya first read a book about hydromancy and was interested after a couple of years she joined the enchantry and quickly began reading books about the subject. She hasn't just read books though. She's met with a water evocationist and he gave her a demonstration and some advice about the void. She also went to a grand enchanter who gave her some more advice.

I also have a multitude of screenshots

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning: Water Evocation is explained thoroughly in multiple books.

Provide evidence you've a proper means of learning this magic(s): (http://imgur.com/a/ppB92 I have many more screenshots showing her reading books and asking different mages questions. Hopefully this shows I've went around the world and asked questions. Also the screenshots above are a little unorganized I apologize for that.) Sarya is apart of The Enchantry and can ask multiple questions about magic. I can also go to the library in the Enchantry if I get stuck.
