About Me
Myrrha Centuria
Female Dark Elf, Age 57![]()
Appearance: Midnight gray skin, with dark violet eyes and light silver hair. Wears a dark hooded cloak over a dark violet short-sleeved dress. (TOO MANY DARKS) Wears brown leather boots. Has a pendant hidden in her bodice.
Personality Traits: She has a near-balanced mix of different personalities, claiming to have a "rainbow" aura.
Ambitions: Exploration, Fun.
Strengths/Talents: Making music, making art, fast learner (with the right facts).
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Childlike, ignorant, very stubborn, very shy.
Orphaned at a young age, Myrrha was rather... peculiar among elves, to say the least. She always had dreams of being both hero and villain in a story, and never took the time to make friends. The only things she would study were the bare necessities, with one of few exceptions being arcane magic. She lived alone in Luminaire before the corruption, ignoring events around the city as if she weren't there. Even the growing tensions between the rest of the elves went unnoticed.
Her life right before the corruption was the same as any other day. She dressed up, ate, and went outside to read somewhere. As stubborn as she was, she kept trying to study magic, even though everyone told her that she could never really use it or understand it. Right before she read a part detailing which races and subraces could use magic, a loud noise sounded. The next thing she knew, a large branch was flying towards her. It hit Myrrha in the head, effectively knocking her out.
Myrrha woke up during the corruption, dazed and confused. After searching around, she ran off with some visitors from far off lands that they... never actually specified, to her dismay. Myrrha, although she was still dazed, thanked them endlessly, traveling with them, over mountains and through valleys. After a few years, she reached a decision to stay with them. As some joined and departed from their group, she stayed to be the (ironic) light of their emotions. Although her friends can be bothersome, she intended to stay with them as long as possible.
Whilst scavenging around the little camp she had set up near her friends, she overheard someone talking about Darkhaven, and how it was a Dark Elf settlement. After thinking it over in what she called a home, she decided not to go there, as she realized that she tended to stay away from her own kind. Not out of spite, but simply because she didn't feel comfortable around them. Her attachment to her friends was more important to her than anything now, and she would do anything to keep them united.
She lives on as a travelling wanderer, observing history as it goes.
Meryl Tsukiyo (Deceased)
Female Human, Age 23![]()
Appearance: Tan skin, with light blue eyes and light brown hair. Wears a red cardigan over a brown sleeveless shirt, with a red skirt underneath. Has brown leather knee-high boots, a yellow scarf, and a gold bracelet.
Personality Traits: Arrogant and very forceful, due to her past as a pirate.
Ambitions: Become the best.
Strengths/Talents: Strong in will and physical strength. Agile and dextrous.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Stubborn, does not take orders.
Meryl, in her young age, was born in a family of pirates. She learned how to survive on land and sea, and how to take what she needed, all from her parents. At the age of 20, she separated from her parents for adventure. Going sailing, she went to the Cloud Temple docks to see adventure. She lived in the alleyways of Oren ever since, scavenging everything she could. Occasionally, she would go out and steal something from the cities, never leaving an identifiable footprint in her place.
She read the history of Vailor, and found that it was inhabited by many races that were mere myths in her land. She explored, attacking and defending only when she had no other choice. She hid from the public, never letting go of her shadow identity. At day, she would study, whilst at night, she would unwillingly protect the citizens of Oren. Nobody knew who she was, and only rumors that were later "proven false" would reveal her shadow identity as "The Red Shadow of Oren".
She met a dark elf girl named Myrrha whilst walking around in a wheat field near a dwarven camp. They became partners, then friends, then best friends, all in one day. Escaping, they split paths, however, they kept reminders that they would once again meet each other. After a long time, they met again in Felsen after Myrrha and some others were attacked by zombies. Right before Myrrha was about to board the carriage to the Cloud Temple, they talked, telling each other what they were up to. Eventually, they reached a decision to start a new life for Meryl.
She died saving Myrrha from a shipwreck caused by an unseen assailant.
