Sir 'Wings' von Draco is almost instantly surrounded by a gaggle of Ferrymen, their weapons drawn and ready to attack. He stands tall, longsword at the ready as he prepares to defend himself. But just as the brigands are about to strike, a figure appears from the shadows.. It's a Disgruntled Savoyard, sporting the Ashford Sun on his tabard, and wielding a mighty battle-axe! With a fierce battle cry, "BLOOD FOR ASHFORD!" the Savoyard charges into the fray, his battle-axe flashing in the sunlight that licked at them from between the pillars of the entryway. 'Wings' is caught off guard, but he quickly joins the Savoyard in the fight. Together, they make quick work of the two brigands before them, their sword and axe flashing in a deadly dance. But in the heat of battle, Sir 'Wings' von Draco is unceremoniously hit from behind and he falls to the ground, unconscious. When he wakes up, he finds himself on the floor of the interior of Castle Moere. His head is pounding, and his vision is blurred, but he can make out the familiar shapes of the castle's stone walls. He tries to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washes over him, and he falls back to the ground. As his vision clears, he catches a glimpse of the perished Sir Arthur de Lyons, the Knight Paramount, lying on a nearby bier. Wings is filled with a sense of loss and regret; he wishes he had the chance to serve under Sir Arthur de Lyons longer. "Blood for Arthur.." he muttered silently to himself..

The Disgruntled Savoyard, GOD rest his soul, looked down from the heavens where he was sent, specifically upon Sir 'Wings' von Draco. He nodded firmly in approval, letting out a hearty chortle, prancing around in joy, for at long last, he was reunited with all his deceased brethren, brothers-in-arms and leaders lost during the journey of life. He was disgruntled no more.

  2. I will miss you dearly brother, rest now for you have deserved it. One day, when my time on this miserable earth comes to an end, we will meet again, laugh on all the great memories we created, shared and cherished together.

    Your friend,
    Arygon

  3. Honestly, this is a disgrace. Me, Dantory and Mikhail are all veteran members of over five years in this community, we've been friends for longer than that. I agree with what Dantory said about the 'new direction' of the server and how back in the day when we were still new here that this wouldn't have been that serious of an offence. Even in the instance that this wasn't acceptable back in the day when all of us were still fairly new in the community, it would've been considered a minor misconduct at worst. One could argue with whoever decided on the ban that there have been instances of more heinous rule violations in the past that have usually concluded with a fast unban of the offender.

Which brings me to my BIG question, why are my dear friends banned and I'm not, I was just as involved in this as they were. Also, the thing that really gets my brain ticking, if we were all under an investigation ban why wasn't I contacted or asked a single question regarding the events that led to the banning of myself and my friends.

If my acquaintances are not unbanned than you should definitely ban me alongside them.

    Warm regards,

    Arygon

Varon remarked before tossing the traitor’s missive into a campfire, preparing his equipment to be bloodied on anyone following the false- King Marius.

Issued by Varon of the House of Kovachev, 1717.

I, Varon Kovachev, Duke of Carnatia, Lord of the Stones, issue the following missive to the Highlander peoples of Haense and Adria.

I condemn the crown of Hanseti-Ruska for their treasonous activities. The false-King Marius who broke his house’s - and his - ancient oaths to the descendants of Aurelius and His Imperial Majesty, Godfrey III by aiding with this Marnanite Rebellion. His actions have disgraced the name of our people and destroyed our reputation as loyal and honest men; his name upon the Nenzing Proclamation reminds us all of broken oaths and a disrespect of promises made in the presence of the Lord. Marius isn’t half the man his father was.

This is not the first of his sins. Not only did he abide by the murder of his own vassals but he also shamed and disrespected the House of Kovachev - ancient vassals of his forefathers who have never once broken their oaths - by stripping them of their titles. These titles, held in perpetuity and by previous generations for decades, which he granted to himself with all the avarice of a rich, grasping merchant and none of the dignity which is expected of a King.

I will stay true to the Lord and abide by my ancient oaths of fealty, serving the Imperium Renatum under Godfrey III. I pledge my blade to his service, along with that of my people, for it is he who remains true as the heir to the Empire and it is to him my forefathers owed fealty to, through the Kingdom which I love. I was born in Renatus, not Haense, and join this with my proud Highlander heritage, to celebrate the unity of Man which was once rejoiced; I cannot draw it within myself to fight men who raised me, both in Renatus and Haense, and will only do battle against traitors who commit treason of the highest order against the Imperium.

I shall support the deposition of the treasonous folk who plague the halls of Reza, lending my blade to the claim of`John Alexander and Godfrey III as ultimate sovereign of these lands as the heir to Antonius.

This war is a failed endeavour, condemned by true men. Honourable Highlanders - of which there are many - should take no place within a rebellion against the rightful Crown. I plead with my people to join my House in this fight for honour and justice. I have not come to this decision easily, aided only by calm deliberation, but will fight alongside my dear uncle, Ser Carlovac who lends his aid to this righteous cause.

    IN NOMINE DEI

HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, Godfrey III of the House of Horen, Emperor of the Imperium Renatum, King of Renatus, Marna, Haense, Mardon, Salvus, Seventis, Savoy, Courland, Santegia, and Kaz’Ulrah, Prince of Ves, Duke of the Crownlands, Adria, Avar, and Frederica, Count of Helena, Alamar, Frederica, Thesmer, Thelen, Lorath, and Cantal, Baron of Darkwood, Gravelhold, Fidei Defensor, Protector of the Heartlanders, Highlanders, Farfolk, etcetera

HIS GRACE, Varon I of the House of Kovachev, Duke of Carnatia, Count of Kvaz, Turov and Kovachgrad, Baron of Valwyk and Venzia, Lord of the Stones
