He was always out of place, due to his half elf blood, and was never accepted by the community until he proved his worth as a fine swordsman and blacksmith. His father was the tough love type. Hadrian was given a baby chick when he was young and raised it to be a full grown hen. One day his father told him to butcher the chicken so they could eat dinner, and that they would not eat anything until he did. Hadrian tried living out the hunger, but finally gave in after 5 days of not eating. His father just explained that he made him do that to understand the value of life, and what it means to take it. Hadrian and his dad never got any closer after that, which made it easy for Hadrian to set off and become a hired sword. He was in the Battle of the Crows’ Fields during the Zion war. He has also fought in the Orenian Civil War, the Battle of Mount Augustus on the side of the loyalists, but only as a hired soldier. He is not unfaithful, just not committed.
