I mean I don’t know what to tell you besides I don’t know how else to tell you that you are wrong. 1.8 pvp does cause lag within pvp, 1.8 does have problems with hit registry that only hits every other hit, 1.8 pvp is slower than 1.9 because of that. 1.9 pvp hasn’t been on lotc as you said, for years, so I really can only assume that you either are greatly misinformed and just parroting something that someone told you, or that you are making things up because you can’t fight in 1.9 pvp.
dude were you here when there actually was 1.9 pvp? u literally have no idea what ur talking about

ok, haensetian scum. a true staunton would never bend over for haense

A long dead knight of Courland cringes from heaven. A false ploy by false Stauntons in cahoots with Haenseti rats. Tobias rolls in his grave at the thought of a Courland being dissolved to a Haense which wronged Courland and will forever be its enemy.

Back last map he played a dwarf for maybe 3 hours and spent the entirety of them in TS tryna convince the old circlejerk to make him King, which nearly happened. After he lost, he promptly quit and made a character in Courland where he was able to gain power. I can’t see a person with his personality succsessfully being a GM.

Ban Reason

What circumstances led to this ban?
A few years ago, I was going through I difficult time in my personal life and with academics, leading me to cease playing LOTC. In a moment of poor judgment, I took the step of sharing my account information in a Discord group populated by players who were banned. This was a spur of the moment that I admittedly made lightly in flippantly. However, in the years of hindsight, I realise the gravity of my actions - namely serving to destabilise the server and contribute to aiding the breaking of rules that not only harmed the spirit of roleplay, but also put vulnerable players at risk.
Among these players, I specifically entrusted my account to "Dewper", I admit that I have in the past four years forgotten why he was banned, but I know for sure it was grave and well-warranted. Subsequently, I misrepresented facts to GMs, helping Dewper retain control of the account for weeks. Looking back, I deeply regret this decision and do believe I have matured to a point where I would not repeat it. I value LOTC for a significant amount of my memories and being banned has disconnected me from a community in which I spent a substantial amount of time. I have long left these discord servers and forgotten the names of many of these people, and would be open to a screenshare to illustrate it. Similarly, my account details have completely changed.
Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?
Yes, I think this is probably one of the most egregious rule-breaches on any common server that you could imagine, so do I do agree with all of it. I particularly agree with the long ban-time, of three months, which I think gives one time to ruminate and think on one's actions. Most important in this sense is growing, because by sharing my details with banned players, I myself supported their actions and became complicit in whatever rule-breaches that they committed. While I am grateful that I have not been permanently banned, I do think that action that warrants a ban of the sort where you help players circumvent bans should reflect the punishment given to the players themselves. In that sense, it was perhaps not harsh enough.
What motivates you to return to LOTC?
I have missed the essential roleplaying element and the community. Following how LOTC has continued without me for years illustrates the RP, friendships, and fun that I have missed out on and I still visited the forums at least once a month to see how everything was going. I wish to return because my nostalgia and memories remain fond and I am happy to see that life does, in fact, continue. I now just wish to rejoin in a more serious capacity.
Attach other relevant information.
In the three years since my ban I think that I have matured significantly and my living situation has changed for the better. I would love the opportunity to rejoin and appreciate the time taken to read the application. Best wishes, Chaw
