To the Elibar’acal Talonnii,

This has been a long time coming, I’m afraid. When I was given the title of Laurir of Elibar’acal I never intended to hold it for very long. Ever since the day it was passed to me I have known whom I wanted my successor to be; Maeve Elibar’acal. However, in recent months a challenger has come forward intending to take over the Talonnii from me. I had originally intended to debate him to place Maeve in the position of Laurir, but I have been progressively becoming more ill. My duties as a Tilruir come before a debate that I have no drive to win. I hope that you all understand my decision. Due to all of this, I leave it to the Elibar’acal Talonnii, the Maheral, and the Maelunir to decide upon the next Laurir.

I would also like to formally announce that, while still recognizing my blood ties to Elibar’acal, my husband and I have decided to create a new branch of the family. We have always had different views regarding magic than the Elibar’acal Talonnii, which has led to our wish to branch away. It is well known that Rhaelanthur is a paladin who was allowed to stay in the city by the Titan, but it is less known that I am a Monk. I have walked the path of the Sun for many years now. From now on, Rhaelanthur and I will use the surname Meracahe'onn - as will our children and any family members who wish to join us. I hope that you all respect our decisions and still treat us as kin.

I’m not here to hate on Muffins or defend the vast majority of her actions, but I do feel like the Muzthag situation should not count against her. I was also directly involved in the report. I will admit that I am the one who brought this report to her and Telanir after speaking with multiple people who had dealt with him in the past. It was swiftly dealt with and he was put under investigation that same night. She may not be fit for the job, but do not use this as part of the reasons as to why she should be removed.

Reopening the Orphanage of Laureh’thilln

[!] From the offices of the Tilruir’hiylun and Okarir’hiylun, a missive is posted to the notice board of Laureh’thilln.

To the Blessed Citizenry of Haelun’or,

It has progressively become more apparent to the stewards of Laureh’thilln that orphans are flocking to our gates quicker than we can properly house them. Due to this, we have decided that it is time to reopen the orphanage we once ran, now located in the former Uhieran den. With the help of the Okarir’hiylun we have also created a proper system for processing and housing children in suitable homes. Along with the housing for the children, there will be some activities held for the underage citizens of the Silver State. All mali’thill under fifty are encouraged to attend, but not required to. There will be a classroom set up within the Orphanage of Laureh’thilln with a laboratory area for safe and supervised experiments.

If you are a child in need of a home or know of one, please contact Aestenia Aevaris, Maeve Elibar’acal, Okarir’hiylun Dele Seregon, or myself to have them placed in the orphanage.

• Children above the age of 16 are highly encouraged to attend classes held within the college.

• Children will remain as full occupants until the age of 25 in the orphanage. If they have not been placed in a home by this time then they will be either put into a house with a peer of the same age and gender, if possible.

• Every Guardian will be vetted carefully before a child is placed into their home, this includes a home inspection and discussion with the guardian’s peers, friends, and co-workers. 

• Every child will be given a psych evaluation, no exceptions. This is required due to past experiences. If one takes issue with this, please contact the Okarir’hiylun or Tilruir’hiylun. Children who fail the psych evaluation will not be placed into a home and kept in the care of the orphanage until 35.

• Independent study in the Eternal Library is encouraged! We cannot always provide classes and the library is free to all for this very reason.
