My mother stayed home and did house work while my father worked as a lumberjack. we had little money but it was enough to get by. The tax collectors would come every month and take what little money we had. I would watch as my father begged them not to take so much, but it never helped. In my free time I would play games with my friends, and pretend to be mighty warriors from the past. One day, some how the plague that first started in 1526 reached my mother. Her suffering brought great pain to our family. I felt powerless, and thought that if we just have enough money, we could pay someone to help. I tried going into town to find a doctor, and when one did come, all they said was that she had very little time. A few days later my father caught it, and a week after that my mother pasted, then my father. I hated how I could do nothing for them, and how I had to bury them myself, I blamed myself. I sold the house, took what I had, and went to start a new life, away from my past.
