How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I am a some what experienced 'roleplayer' and I enjoy these types of servers a lot. I found LotC when searching for a new roleplay server.

What is roleplaying?: Where you create or are given a character to play as in different situations which are usually improvised.
What is metagaming?: Using prior/gained knowledge of a game, outside of the rules, to affect the game/gameplay or use as an unfair advantage.
What is powergaming?: Ignoring most to every aspect of a game except for one particular goal which the player concentrates all energy to achieving this singular goal.

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
The earliest in which the Straeth family are remembered are the times in which the darkness shrouded Anthos and a number of settlements fell to this demonic hand, the great daemon.
The Straeth family are a long line of talented arcane magicians, however the magic stopped after a rather distressing incident many moons ago: While in battle on the ancient settlements of Anthos, Hycis's ancestors found their way face to face with the great daemon himself: Sytherian.
Drawing as much as they can from The Void, their aura's glowing, they attempted to bring this monster down. The world at their fingertips, bending at their will- but nothing harmed it. Instead all the energy they had exhausted was returned to them, coated in the darkness after touching the daemons skin. Surprisingly, this did not kill the Straeth's but curse them. Their magic, now in a form known as taint, hit them and a dark evil found its way into their souls.
The evil affected very few aspects of their personality and life however it lead to random violent out breaks and a light purple tint to their skin.
Due to these unwanted new found traits they were cast out. Removed from any book or note, their names scratched off history itself.
Hycis was born in the mountains of Ard Ghorrock, spending most of her young, care-free days with her father; Ehlark. When he was home at least.
After the the Straeth's abandoned arcane magic they split into their different trades. Ehlark Straeth turned to the trades, going around to different towns and cities for weeks or maybe months at a time and so Hycis was left alone. She didn't mind, she quite liked the feeling of isolation and being left to her own elements. It was these, peaceful times that something reached out to her; mysterious and blissful, as if in this it held true happiness. Hycis reached back.
She later discovered this was known as The Void, the heart of arcane magic and began to practice.
However, one lonely, blissful day when Hycis was practicing her new found magic, Ehlark returned. Infuriated and in tune with the taint, Ehlark banished Hycis from the mountains and their home. Arcane magic was no longer permitted within the Straeth bloodline, the mere mention of it was outcast within the family, still suffering from the great shame that hovered over their souls.
Confused and distorted by her father; Hycis made her way from the mountains and across the land. She was never fully satisfied with the towns or cities, nor her self-sufficient camps, something inside her always wanted more. Searching for the unknown, it seemed, always hungry for the horizon. One day travelling, Hycis made her way back to the mountains in order to grab a few supplies, to find her father on his death bed. Shocked to see her, he sat in silent awe. With his last breath he ushered her over and took her memories. In some hope it would free the family from their shame and inner demons.
Hycis, now empty and confused, peered and the dead man in the room. In respect for the stranger she covered him with a white blanket, as she was the only one there.
Deciding her memories had been taken, by examining her age and appearance, the dark elf wondered off to the land to find her old memories and make herself legend.
Personality Traits: Determined, happy, adaptable, fun, smart, understanding but has the occasional violet outbreak.
Ambitions: To be known throughout the world, whether good or bad (referring to the violent outbreaks), wonder the earth from corner to corner and receive her previous memories again
Strengths/Talents: Making friends, athletic activities and disappearing without anyone noticing.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Can't stand up for personal opinions against conflicting ones, never learnt how to wield any weapon or self-defense and has a big mouth.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Strong, muscular, violet tinted skin, long dark-near, braided blue hair, dark-almost black eyes, around 6 feet tall and has slight armor plating on her clothing.
