  1. Sir Charles Galbraith and Lucius Galbraith would be talking with each other in the living room of Fort Imperium. As soon as they heard the news they weeped for the passing of their family relative. The old and retired statesman would then proceed to pen a letter to the Frederickist Galbraith @Josef_Rippelberg

    "Dear Nephew,

I remember very well the day you were born. When such event occurred, your father told us all about how proud he felt about our family and how our loyalty to the Empire was one of our most important values as a House. After all, the words of the House Galbraith are clear: AD MAIOREM IMPERIUM GLORIAM (FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF THE EMPIRE).

Tell me, nephew, what Empire are you serving now? You have forsaken all your Oaths of Allegiance to the Imperial Crown and have sided with the younger brother of the legal heir of Oren, unjustly usurping the Throne, in his treasonous attempt of turning our country into an irrelevant and weak Kingdom.

When I saw you remain silent in the Throne Room the day Frederick Charles decreeded the dissolution of the Empire I was deeply disappointed that you did not speak up against such terrible decision.

However, when I heard of your appointment as the false King's Vice-Chancellor I clearly understood it: you have given up all your honour and all our family's historic undying loyalty for the Empire only for petty positions of power and false promises that Frederick Charles will never be able to uphold.

Nephew, I implore you to meditate on your actions and return to the Imperial Crown. It is not too late to join the right side of history.

And last but not the least I would like to finish this letter with the following reflection: It does not matter if you have been given power in the false Kingdom of Oren. Such a state is nothing more than a ruined country, a dead horse with no values or national identity. Tell me, nephew, is this the Oren you want for us all to live in?

There is no life worthy of living outside the Empire, nephew, hopefully you shall soon realize that.

    Signed,

    Your uncle Sir Charles Galbraith

Your son and heir Lucius Galbraith."

  2. "It seems that the false King of Oren wants indeed to establish a regime of terror upon the Imperial Elves. That is the only reason he would side with Elvendom nowadays given their people's recent attack against the Elves of Ebonwood. Disgusting. What a shameful Oren the one that Frederick's supporters want to build: a country without values and identity, that disrespects and terrorize the Elven people. Shame on them.

Peter IV will always support the Elven people and their rights. God save the Emperor!" said Sir Charles Galbraith as he heard the news.

  3. "9 I am the Lord God without peer, and My Word is the holy word, and My path is the virtuous path, and all the blessings of the Virtue shall fall before the righteous who tread it.

5 And so I have placed into your hearts the blessings of abundance: the virtuous wealth of the spirit. 6 And as I have given to you this blessing of My Word, you shall also give unto your fellows."

    - Scroll of Virtue, received by Ex. Horen.

  4. Sir Charles Galbraith, Knight of the Imperial Order of the Merit, remarked the following after hearing the news:

"People who have never been loyal to Oren telling you how you are the traitor. It is curious to say the least. And to think that the forces of the false King of Oren have brutally murdered a child in blood-lust..." Sir Charles Galbraith shook his head in disapproval "These are not the values for which our predecessors fought and died for hundreds of years!"

"Gentlemen, me and my father have served many different Emperors since the times of Peter III. And none of them would have ever dared to dissolve the Empire, Our Country, as the pretender Frederick Charles has attempted to do."

"Gentlemen, It's now your time to stand up and fight for Our Emperor Peter IV, Holy Orenian Emperor! For the Empire! God save the Emperor!"

  5. After hearing of the Proclamation issued by the Imperial Crown, Sir Charles Galbraith, Knight of the Imperial Order of the Merit, delivered the following remarks regarding the current events in the Holy Orenian Empire:

"The Holy Orenian Empire is not just an Empire. It is the Tapestry of Man that We and Our Titans of State have been working on for generations. It is Our Country, Our Nation, Indivisible, Under GOD, And Anyone willing to dissolve Our Country to turn it into a petty Kingdom does not deserve to call himself a ‘King’ at all.

My fellow Orenians, Frederick Charles is nothing but a false king, a pretender, who would rather betray his own elder brother and rule over the ashes of a ruined country than allow the Orenian people to live in the peace and prosperity of Our Imperial State.

Make no mistake, Our Sovereign is no King but an Emperor whose name is Peter IV, firstborn son of Philip III, who shall bring Our Country to the prosperous and golden days of Peter III.

Long live His Imperial Majesty Peter IV Augustus of the House of Novellen, Holy Orenian Emperor! GOD save the Emperor and Our Holy Mother Church!”

And though they are many, the strength of GOD does not serve the wicked (Auspice 2:45)

  6. "Will no one speak to how the Empress was the one who planned the assassination of His Imperial Highness the Heir Apparent, to how the Emperor appointed an Anti-Pontiff and caused a schism against the Holy Mother Church, to how the Emperor started an unnecessary war against the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and his allies that only brought us a giant defeat, to how the Emperors were declared Anathema by the Holy Mother Church and lost their title of Defenders of the Faith?"

"All that for what? A lost empire, a collapsed country ready to turn on itself. A great nothing." said the old Sir Charles Galbraith to himself in quiet tone, as the Viscount of Rivia administered him a new dose of laudanum.

"It would have been better if the recent Emperor and Empress stayed and died on that island."

  7. A certain irrelevant savoyard by the name of Louis d'Ashford d'Aryn shed a tear upon hearing of the abdication of His Serene Highness "There goes one of the best Princes that the Principality of Savoy has ever had. Thank you, Prince Lucien, for everything that you have done during all these years. I hope that you forgive me for having been busy with other matters during your reign. I pray that GOD forgives me for having neglected my duties towards the Ashford Crown and that we can now drink together in the halls of the Royal Palace as we used to do when we were younger."

Sir Charles Galbraith would blink twice as his nurse showed him the news coming from the Principality of Savoy "Ah, yes, the young Lord Lucien...I recall him now. I am glad that he remembered my lesson the day he visitted the Imperial Palace in Providence: the Holy Mother Church is the most important institution of our Canondom. Our faith identifies us, not just as humans but also as canonists. Our religion is what makes us, the humans, different than any other animal, race or tribe.

And I am, above all, glad that he learnt a lesson that I didn't manage to find the time to schedule with him: Pax Orenia, peace amongst men.

Prince Lucien, you have truly been a great prince, and I am very sorry for all the bad things that happened to you. You certainly did not deserve them." he said, talking to himself, before his nurse approached him and injected him a new dose of laudanum

  8. The old and decrepit Sir Charles Galbraith would congratulate his nephew (@Josef_Rippelberg) after hearing the news "So you finally made it, young Philip. I am proud of you, and so would your father. It is an honor to be able to serve in the Council of State. In fact, the Galbraiths have been doing it for generations, which is why I have no doubt that you shall do a fantastic job in your new position."

  9. The old Sir Charles Galbraith would be holding a blue parchment affixed with the Seal of the Ministry of Justice near the bonfire of the living room of the Viscounty of Rivia when suddenly an 8-year-old Galbraith kid approached him:

"Sir! - Who is the man on that picture?" the boy asked, pointing at a depiction of Sir Duncan Vuiller contained in the page of his parchment.

"A hero. A hero of the Holy Orenian Empire." he simply replied after carefully choosing his words, as he shed a tear upon the picture of the fallen Agent of the Imperial Bureau of Investigation of the Ministry of Justice of Oren.

  10. "Ah, yes, another Ordinance of the very 'Democratic' Imperial Prefecture of Providence. Surely allowing the people of our nation's capital to vote in order to elect their own Lord Mayor and City Government representatives must be something too progressive for the Imperial Government to allow. After all, as they usually say, democracy is so overrated. Why give the people the right to vote if you can just have the Crown appoint representatives? Clever. Certainly, tyranny is a far better system. Truly." The old and lunatic Sir Charles Galbraith said to himself in his bedroom when a nurse showed him the news of the Realm.
