What is roleplaying?: The definition of role playing to me is portraying a fictional character in every aspect to the way they talk to the everyday tasks, and immersing your self into this character so not only to others does it seem real for even to yourself. Because good role playing should be just like real life for with different characters lol.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using knowledge obtain in any way outside of the game inside the game, for example private messaging someone a question and then using the answer or using the info to you obtain from the person in game.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power- emoting is pushing emotes on to players, like if you shoot someone in the eye "Vance aims his bow and lets loose an arrow, the arrow fly's true impeding itself into johns eye"
instead of "Vance aims his bow a johns head and lets loose the arrow"

Hes quiet, adventurous, and impartial. But there's more than meets the eye, not surprising for somebody with his past. Son of a poor merchant. His mother died during child birth leaving Vance and his father to fend for themselves. The lived together in the slums of Felsen, on Bath Street, where Vance grew up being a trouble maker and miscreant had many dealing with the law. Vance and his father lived peacefully like this for 14 years, until one night it all changed. Vance 's father meet an untimely end during a mugging in an alley way. His father refused to give up his old wedding ring the one thing he had left from his wife. And during the struggle was stabbed by the attacker. Vance was in panic when his father had yet to return from the market, it wasn't until morning that Vance was able to find his father. He found him thrown in the alley way like common trash. Vance was devastated. But it got worse while Vance cried over his dead fathers corpse the guard patrol was doing the morning patrol of the slums and spotted Vance and his father. Vance was instantly shackled and incarcerated. Due to his past dealing with the law and no alibi for the time of the murder he was quickly found guilty for the murder of his father. Vance was sent to the ice plains of Courtland to the capital Riga. He was there sentenced to life in the mines. He quickly made friends with his bunk mate a mountain dwarf. Vance shared many stories of the city with the dwarf who had almost spend his whole life in the mines and knew nothing of the outside world. In return the dwarf taught Vance many things about the earth, how to mine probably where to find the best ores. After 12 yrs of this Vance was brought infront of warden for what he thought was an appeal. But to his surprise he was being released, due to the fact that his fathers actual killer was found and incarcerated after he tried to pawn his fathers wedding ring. Now free to live his life and find his place in it, with the skills that the kind mountain dwarf taught him about Mining and stone masonry he wants to make a name for him self. Not just for him but for his father as well.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)Hes quick witted, which helps him in his favorite past time Gambling. While in prison he obtained a nack for the addicting habit. He also loved to fish with his father, which he does as often as he can because it makes him feel closer to him.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He honestly doesn't know yet he spend most of his life in jail and now has a clean slate. And wants to use it to its fullest not just for him but also for his father.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)His people skills for sure he never had to deal with people much as a poor merchants son, his problem with authorities is also a cause for concern from the wrong doing and his childhood he as lasting hatred for authority figures

He has a large scare on his left leg running from his ankle to his thigh from when in fell in the mine shaft.
