Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)
- His father was a miner and his mother was a blacksmith. When Surrick was born, his parents came upon the decision to utilized water birth. They bought two kegs of Dwarvern Ale, and when his mother was about to give birth, filled a bathtub with the alcohol. Born drunk, and lives from ale to ale. His shelter is gold and liquid courage, and is usually willing to do anything for his next drink. Growing up in Kal'Ordholm, Surrick learned from his father the lesson of smithing and life; there are times to be gentle and times to be strong, but it is up to the smith to choose correctly. The hammer can never be blamed for making a mistake, it is up to the smith to accept it as his mistake. Surrick took these lessons to heart, and lived by them through his teen years. While living under his father, Surrick also inherited his father's hatred of the Elves; his father primarily hated the Wood Elves that came to town for supplies. His father would often, and purposely, charge Elvish clients more gold than he would normally preform a job for or sometimes outright refuse to complete the job.
- When Surrick was an adult, he work do any odd job he could find to earn money to buy ale to drink. He has done a wide variety of jobs, from moving supplies to killing rats. That is, until he accepted a job to serve as a magician's test subject. The wizard cast a strange spell which caused Surrick to see into a strange dimension. There, he experienced many strange occurrences including seeing himself lead and entire nation, a strange being floating before him, and a figure resembling Yemekar, of The Brathmordakin . He returned from his dimensional trip scarred and mentally destroyed. His action and speech remained unaffected, but his reasoning and thoughts were corrupted. Surrick's motives are now sporadic and unpredictable. He now lives in Urgaun, working odd jobs as he normally did, and spends his nights finding drinks to consume.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Sporadic and ever-clanging, but always loves alcohol and hates elves. Average, maybe even above average, height for a Dwarf. He does not mind heavy work. He does not show anticipation prior to any work, but he becomes noticeably happy when he is seen blacksmithing.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) To do as he pleases and achieve a mug of ale by days end, by any means necessary.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is primarily good at holding his liquor. He is a surprisingly promising blacksmith, even for a man who works drunk every time. Willing to do almost any job, should he be desperate enough.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Needs alcohol to continue functioning normally, or else risk "complete physical meltdown". (Feel Free to quote me on that one.) Outside of hatred of elves and drinking, his motives and action are unknown and near impossible to predict.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) A gruel dwarf with a long bearded and red clothes. His breath reeks of alcohol, and his body shows many minor scars from multiple workplace accidents (again, he is working drunk almost all the time). His Hair is a dirty, dark brown, with two rusted iron rings holding his beard beneath his chin.
Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
