How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: My current roleplaying server is unfortunately shutting down in a couple of months, therefore I checked some server lists and found this one!

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is what it sounds like! You create a character/role and you play as that character.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information your character wouldn't be able to know. If I say out of character "My character secretly hates you, but you do not know that" and the other person proceeds to act like they know, that is metagaming.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power emoting is doing an action that gives the receiving end no chance to counter or dodge. Such as "Mike chokes you" Instead, you should do it like this "Mike violently takes his hands around your throat and attempts to choke you out"
In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Dante had a nice and wealthy family in a large elven forest called "Tion". It was a good life for a young elven boy. Not too stressful. Not too relaxing. It was a good balance. Though, this all changed when a group of unkown entities attacked the forest. We had heard about strange attacks. Something what alot of people believed being a myth, was the attack on the city of Kal'Akash. They claimed they had been attacked by a unknown race. Dante did not have the time to think about this. These creatures held large torches. The forest was soon to be set a' blaze as the creatures threw their torches into the woods. The strongest of elven warriors fought bravely for Tion, but it was too late. Water spells being casted. Everyone tried to help but it wasn't enough. The elves then were forced to split up and run all in different directions. Dante yelled for his parents but nobody was there. He saw everyone running, so he ran too. He ran far, far away. When he was miles away from the forest, he was so tired that he plummed into the ground and fell asleep.
He then suddenly woke up by a large group of people singing what sounded like sea shanties. He opened his eyes and saw a large ship cruising past the shore. He heard one yell "CAP'N! THE LAD IS NOT DEAD!" Dante stood up and yelled he needed help. Two seamen let down the ladder and said "Well c'mon then! We haven't go' all day!" Dante ran to the boat and climbed the ladder. Multiple seamen crowded Dante and asked multiple questions at once. He answered with a quick reply, saying "Just let me sit down and I'll tell you everything" Suddenly, a very fancy dressed man with a hat came out of the captain's quarter. He had a large beard and was smoking a pipe "Aye, but first. I shall tell ye' where we be headed. This ship is loaded wit' cargo headed straight to The Orenian Empire occupying the ex-dwarven fort Rhewengrad. After they won the besiege a couple of years ago and they have been vastly running out o' materials. That's where we step in. After we've done that. I'll see if we can settle a home for ye, that alrigh'?" Dante nodded. The night went on and every seamen was very into Dante's story. Two days past and they finally arrived at Rhewengrad. Dante helped carrying the cargo into the storage room. "Now. Let's go find ye'self a home." Dante and the rest of the crew got on the ship. After a couple hours of sailing, they docked by a large forest, much like his old home. They walked a neat stone path untill they came to a bridge. At the end of the bridge there was an entrance to what looked like to be a town. It was closed. "This be ye new home. This is wher' all the other wood elves be! Vailor is lookin' much prettier now. Ever since the rising of the Kingdom of Vandoria happened, hostiles hav' been winding down!" Dante smiled as the captain patted him on the back. "It's been fun sailing with ye. Hopefully fate will bring us together one more time." He said and tipped his hat and then walked off to his docked ship. Dante waved. He looked at the entrance and thought to himself "This. This is where a new life begins."

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Dante aspires to be a good person, have a good life and have alot of friends ^-^
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Dante is very good at writing and cheering people up. He is also a skilled archer.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Dante is terrified of failure. Everytime he fails to do something, he feels guilt and his guilt often turns to sadness.
