Out-Of-Character Information
Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!
What’s your Minecraft account name?: xiRapiiDz.
How old are you?: I am thirteen of age.
What timezone are you in?: EST, or GMT -4.
Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes, I am.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Of course, I have.
What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I believe this one, because I have recently played on a server where players made up their own lore, and where the server lore was pretty much non-existent. "All roleplay on LoTC must abide by server lore. Lore can be found on the Wiki or Forum lore section. You cannot play as a race that is not lore-approved, and you require LM/MAT approval for races not a part of the Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Kha, or Orcs. If you wish to add lore to LoTC, it must be submitted and approved before it can be played."
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Not that I know of.
How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I’ve heard about this server before, and yes, it did get my attention once or twice, but I never fully committed to it and went to make an application.
Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): None.
Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes, I have.
Definitions
Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial of your application!
What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying consists of putting yourself on another person’s shoes, or simply just acting as them. It mainly consists of acting and playing a fictional, non-existent character.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the use of out of character (OOC) into roleplay. An example would be that Jimmy said in OOC that he had a well-hidden knife in his right boot. Tommy, who was about to inspect Jimmy used that information to his advantage, and went for the knife in his boot. Another example would be that Tommy wants to kill Jimmy's new character because of something he did OOC. Unless Tommy's character is a sadistic killer, he would have no reason to kill Jimmy, and would be considered Metagaming. Another good example would be reading thoughts, or quite literally 'stalking' a roleplay, whilst not being close enough to actually hear.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is doing things that are 'impossible', or forcing actions on another person’s character, by making your character overpowered. By example in a combat roleplay, Jimmy would not be able to automatically hit/kill Tommy, because that is powergaming. He would have to use a weapon and attack him, but with giving him a chance of evading/blocking it. Jumping 5 feet into the air, or cutting a person with armor in half with a katana would also be considered powergaming (Overexaggerated, but you get it.)

(where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)
Oliver was born into a family of four, consisting of two children, and the two parents. Oliver, being the eldest child, were to inherit the wealth of his father. His family lived on the outskirts of Johannesburg. As a heartlander tradition, both Oliver and his brother were learned the ways of combat by his father. Oliver’s father was a man of the military, the army. He fully committed himself to it, putting his sweat and efforts. He was part of the First Imperial Legion, Second Brigade, wanting his sons to follow his path and career, and insisted on doing so, influencing them. His mother, who was a generous woman, knew how to sow. She did clothing, sometimes for other people, in order to gain some money to help sustain the family.
During the Orc war, whilst Oliver was reaching his nineteenth birthday, Oliver’s father was reported killed on action at a recent battle, a letter being sent to their home. Albeit the letter did not explain too much, it didn't have to. They understood what it meant, and what the Orc had did.. Struck by grief, Oliver promises to carry out revenge for his father’s death, and to join the First Imperial Legion. From there, he grew to become more. . rash, having lost his father. His brother, on the other hand, didn't as much affected as he was. After having done some studies, and further combat and sword training, Oliver set out to join Legio I Ioannes, to seek glory, and revenge.
