Its not about only ELVES  but the whole non-human playerbase rising (I've seen a LOT more undead n' stuff, for an example, and some sprites.)

The rise of Non-human players.

Why's this happening?

I'd say its safe to assume that the rise of non-human players is happening due to the rise of EVENTS envolving non-human players (such as the on involving the dwarfs) but not only that, but people are starting to think like "Oh, something different would be good to try", and then those people hop on their 2nd slot persona, create an elf, dorf or orc, and scroll around.

So what, there's a problem? Well, sometimes yes.

Most of these players were once human roleplayers, so it gets hard to get used to cultures and other stuff of other races (Like some people misspelling Blah as an Orc, and other things). Some might say "Oh, then older players need to teach 'em, right?". Yea, but the older players are usually not online. I hardly ever find any chieftains, marechals or (whatever the elf leader name is) around.

Can we fix that?

Actually, even being human roleplayers, we can!

Its a simple fact of helping those who need help ("Oh but there's the GMs, ATs, ETs") Well they can't handle all new players on their own, why not help them?

   Indeed, even being new (I've been playing for 4 months now) I think I can make an impact on the comunnity by helping people in it. If there is something hiding  under the dark shades of the uknown, I seek forward to gather knowledge on that matter.

                               Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work and collaborate with others?:

 I wish to be an AT member because, since I got myself my whitelist application, I found it difficult to get accepted right off the bat, so I seek to help new people in the community with those applications in hope to seek for more and more players to the server and create a healthy communtiy. I believe that if one wishes to work, help or collaborate with others, its up to the person to know if they are going to have that ability to help others. If the person does not pursue after the wish of helping others, then that person is the one that later on will be helped

                               Do you recognize that you will be given extra responsibilities such as working on the LoTC Wiki, assisting the AT in creating guides and helping new players with                                   their questions upon logging into LoTC?:

  I knew that when I started writing this up. The necessity of helping others by working on the Wiki, assisiting the AT and helping players does not set worries or  troubles withing me, yet it settles happiness withing my very soul to have the power and the capability of helping either the AT or new players.

 My english can, and will sometimes be faulty in grammar and things related, so I require some patience if I mistake a word or if I spell something wrong.
