Yeah, I saw it. I saw the emoji movie. And I know I'm going to be ridiculed for this, but I honestly saw some parallels to George Orwell's 1984. Everyone is expected to act one specific way, their whole lives, and if they don't they are mocked and shunned by society, and in Gene's case, even killed (at least they tried to). I also think Gene's struggle is reminiscent of that of the LGBTQ community throughout the past 40-50 years. It's like he "came out" at the end of the movie. This movie was a true cultural masterpiece and nobody can appreciate it for what it truly is.

  I'm actually reading 1984. A bit off topic, but it's so weird how minor things I do/think always appear randomly like in this message. I have no idea on the emoji movie, i heard it was fail, but that's it.
