    Gender: Male

    Eyes: Green

    Magics: T5 electromancy, T2 Conjuration

Body Type: Of average height, with strong arms and shoulders from years in the mines and chopping trees. Though not as strong due to voidal poisoning, his once large body weakened and frailer

Profession: Veteran Miner, Veteran Lumberjack, Masterful Blacksmith

Bio/personality : Having a distaste for war and fighting through his younger years of traveling and wars he's been apart of. Agnar is hard to anger, atleast harder than some norlanders, and prefers negotiations over fighting. Though preferring not to fight Agnar will not stand to have his home, family, or friends threatened. The more studious of his brothers Agnar has a thirst for knowledge. Agnar is also the most religous of his brothers leading to him becoming a red priest. After the town of Mjol became inactive, Agnar took to learning magic and finding work in Courland. With the war that left courland empty Agnar moved toward Veris/Lorraine settling down as he begun to attempt to practice a second magic. After the erection of the new Orenian capital a new philosophy was shown to him.

Weapons : Rarely using anything but his preferred weapon his runic sword Angurvadal, and magic.

Combat style : Agnar is usually slow to jump into the fray, looking for an open place or where he is needed the most. Once in combat Agnar's fighting style is defensive until he sees an opening at which time he launches a full assault. Now with the abilities of voidal magic, Agnar will use that for long range attacks to stun or disable a foe.

The Legion is a collection of militant Dwarves of both genders who make up the Dwarven capital's defence, they are responsible for the protection of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The Legion pledges full loyalty to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

The Legion is currently lead by: Thruum'Kazak Belgor Ireheart

    Perks of Joining the Legion

Standard Pay; Those in the Legion that serve their time shall receive a payment under certain circumstances to pay off their taxes and/or purchase goods for their own use.

Equipment; Gear for combat is available to the forces of the Legion who have passed training (Grunt Rank) and can be obtained from the Grand Marshal or Commander, a Dwarf may only receive one off duty kit per Stone week and will by default receive a combat kit during times of war.

Free housing; A new recruit may gain free housing within the barracks, the recruit that partakes in this bonus will lose their lodging after purchasing a home of any type within the capital or in the kingdom’s surrounding lands.

    Ranks

    Officer Ranks

    Velerakian

Second in command. This legionnaire must be treated as the Thruum'Kazak, should he be absent or has chosen the Velerakian to give orders. Only one Dwarf may have this position at a time.

    Barel'Rikkin

Highly respected among the Legionnaires. Veterans and skilled fighters, the Barel'Rikkin are trusted the most. They may be chosen to lead squads or lead the army, should both the Velerakian and Thruum'Kazak prove absent.

    Ahran'Trumm

Former Grand Marshalls. Their Judgement should always be listened to, as their experience exceeds all else.

    Soldier Ranks

    Khro'Nazkarumm

The Highest Rank a soldier can be without otherwise having the ability to lead. Khro'Nazkarumm are the strongest amongst the Soldier ranks. Experienced fighters, usually chosen to fight first, due to their more developed skill.

    Gorix'Akvel

The average rank of a Legionnaire. Each is a capable a defender of Urguan, and all of it's land. Trained and armed, ready to face attackers at a moment's notice, however lacking experience, compared to an Khro'Nazkarumm.

    Grunt

The lowest rank a Legionnaire will receive, however all start here. Recruits of the Legion, they may be good fighters, as the rest of the Legion, yet lack experience, or just haven't receive the training yet. This rank is never held for long, should a soldier carry out simple orders and tasks.

    Slayer Ranks

    Dreng

Extremely strong, and nonetheless ferocious, a Dreng can work themselves into a rage at a moment's notice. Chosen for their ability at killing beasts, demons or hordes of men. Nothing but a lethal blow may take one down.

    Dharok

Named after the Dwarven word for "Beast", these warriors act as if they were infact an animal. Howling, roaring, and wild. They've a taste for combat, and like the Dreng, rarely feel pain.

    Kavokrumm

A dwarf that lacks technique, but no less dangerous. Using brute force they swing and flail madly, an unpredictable vessel of pure strength.

    Combat:

Military practice is often done once or twice every Stone Week to hone the skills of both recruits and veteran soldiers so that battles may be planned in advance and new tactics be learned in order to ensure that the Dwarvish siege weaponry runs efficiently during times of war or battle and allow for fresh meat (recruits) to easily gain the necessary skills that make for the important components of the Dwarvish combat style.

(Screenshots of rp/you patrolling the Kingdom)

    Labor:

Labor training is done through one’s own time with or without supervision of a specialist in the field the legionnaire is interested in, and allows for the recruit or avid soldier to partake in specialized military fields or to gain currency during times of peace.

    Guard Duty:

The Duty of Guarding is a crucial role within the capital, Militants within the Legion are expected to serve for one stone hour to protect the Hold, duties of guarding include:

    Gate Management

During shifts legionnaires are expected to keep the gate open for Dwarves to pass freely in between, but be alert enough to shut the gates for outsiders so that the following questions may be asked. When no Dwarf or Dwarves are manning the gates, it is expected that the gates shall remain open.

    Patrol

Patrolling is vital to the Kingdom’s well being be it either tunnel clearances, when a guard goes into the deep mines and disposes of creeps and critters who may harm the miners, or doing surface checks where the militant will do tasks similar to the tunnel clearance but on the surface.. Any peculiar sightings are to be reported to the Legion Commander for further inspection.

    Surface Checks

As his story progresses this lore would come to define how he would live his life. Around the age of 12 Baldur was separated from his home and family. Baldur quickly had to learn to survive on his own and learnt to be an archer. As he began to grow as an individual one of the only memories he had was of the seed well. Baldur took it to his heart to protect the woods and the creatures within. Over the years Baldur's interactions with humanoids where only to get necessary things.

Through his vigilance of nature Baldur nearly died a few times, his closest experience was that by one he considered friend. Once out in the woods Baldur and his friend found an ancient ruin guarded by a Golem. Baldur wished to leave it be as it was claimed by nature and no ones right to invade. Baldur's friend though thought differently and wished to claim the wealth and power that may lay within. Greed corrupted his heart and he turned on Baldur leading to a deadly fight to the death resulting in a deep scary rending him blind in his left eye. Since that event Baldur never socialized with people or took to growing close to anyone.
