Character’s name: Thaldril Runeheart

Character’s race: Dwarf ( Mountain Dwarf)
Character’s age: 73
Biography : Thaldril Oakheart was born in the year 1514, the year before his parents were killed by bandits during an ambush on the side of the road. Knowing their fate as the group of raiders approached, Thaldril's parents wrapped him in a blanket and hid him behind a nearby tree. The next day a wandering forest dwarf was taking his morning stroll when he found a small baby dwarf crying under an oak tree. The forest dwarf took the unnamed child back to his cabin where he lived in hermitry. Deciding to take care of the boy, the hermit named his adopted son Thaldril after himself and saw a last name of Oakheart as fitting due to where he was found. The forest dwarf attempted to raise young Thaldril in his home in the woods to the south of Kal'Akash, but the Thaldril's violent nature was too much for the hermit and his pacifist beliefs.
After the forest dwarf abandoned him outside of the city of Kal'Akash, a group of raiders similar to the ones who murdered his parents, recruited the strong young man to help them in their blitz attacks. The group traveled throughout Vailor, stopping caravans and raiding villages in their quest for wealth. Thaldril enjoyed the quest for gold and the fighting, but he despised the travel and the long days on horseback. His comrades, which were mostly humans, respected Thaldril's ability to subdue victims, but feared him for it almost appeared as though Mr. Oakheart enjoyed the murders more than the stealing of the gold and items. Thaldril's short temper caused many conflicts within the group and this culminated one day into a full fledged fight to the death between Thaldril and the leader of the group. After the leader accused Thaldril of stealing more loot than he was designated to earn, Thaldril took offense and wanted to defend his honor in a fight. Thaldril easily overpowered the human, but the other members of the group grew angry at him for the death of their boss. They attacked at once and Thaldril had to flee, sustaining an injury to his left eye. After learning of the discovery of a land known as Axios, Thaldril hitched a ride on a ship to the new land and now hopes to build a new life, as a traditional dwarf, free from his dark past.
