Ruven was born into a small, heterosexual family of two children. His brother was but three years after him, coming into a love for the farm life near instantly after he began to work it, while Ruven seemed to crave something more, a bigger life, one away from all of this work, one where he could end up relaxing. Of course that would take work, but currently, his family was going nowhere, they had just enough to feed themselves, and sometimes his mother and father went hungry. So what happens but a miracle, when a large trading caravan comes by and offers to buy their farm. A perfect scenario for the rest of the family, but Ruven was skeptical. He was assured it was fine, and they would be rich after this. And soon that came true. His family came within a few hundred coins a day of wealth, buying Ruven the outfit he wears now, and a nicer house. It was a perfect life since then, his family giving him and his brother, Ayden, an amazing life, while still teaching them to work for their items.
Ruven, again, still wasn’t satisfied with the farm life, though it did give him a lovely body underneath his nice clothing, he wanted to explore, look around, learn. He craved knowledge. He needed it. So, one night, on a whim, he decided to leave. Not that night, of course, but the next morning. He told his parents, with a stern tone, “I will be leaving today, as I’ve been contemplating for years now.” He explained what he wants in this travels, perhaps along the way he’ll find the knowledge of the Ancient, Lost Elven language, or maybe the power to unravel the world at his fingertips, but not without work and knowledge. His parents, surprisingly, agreed to let him go without trouble. He was almost 27. They’d kept him around long enough.
And so, with that, he left to explore Arcas, now finding his way to the Sutican nation, where he can live how he wants!
