What is roleplaying?: Impersonating another person or character and acting as they would.
What is metagaming?: Gaining information out-of-character and letting your character use it in-character.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting can be two things:
Forcing an emote on another player without letting them respond.
Using an emote that your character is unable to do, eg. double backflip.
In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
Character’s name: Henry Stuart.
Character’s sex: Male.
Character’s race: Human.
Character’s age: 25.
Biography: Henry Stuart was born 19th of The Deep Cold, 1570. Henry was very spoiled during his early years; he was given all sorts of toys and treats from his merchant father who worked a shop in the city of Johannesburg. Henry soon grew the oversized belly that his father struggled to carry around. He was very lucky to have such rich parents and knew he was too. Although, oftentimes Henry would make fun of poor beggars that piled the streets, by spitting out curses and rants about how 'lazy' they were. The child's life soon flipped upside-down when his father passed. Oh, how depressing that day was for young Henry! He and his mother cried most nights but they fared well with the wealth leftover from Henry's father.
Time passed as it always did and soon the Stuart family had found their pockets running dry. Henry took it upon himself to find a suitable income for a young man of his admirable status. He bought a horse & cart to begin his career shipping goods around the isle of Tahn. Henry carried these goods to all sorts of places, including Karlsburg, which was his least favourite for its bitter cold weather. Once Henry earned enough coin from trading equipment to the recent rebellion, he decided that he wanted to settle down, thus starting his groovy adventure for love.
Personality Traits: Extremely stuck up, greedy and happy.
Ambitions: Henry aspires to find love and start a family of his own.
