  1. A singular Cardinal, that being Father Armand, remained in solitude for the remainder of the day; having been the one to have given the man his last rites, his face laid in peace as he left that very room to inform everyone else of His passing. No tears lay on his face; but a certainness, a strength, was held inside him - a strength found in the hope that lay in Tylos' eyes for a life everlasting thereafter, in the Seven Skies.

  2. I genuinely really like it. An interesting take on dark themes that are long foregone. Seems very balanced, also, though I don't see much about their regeneration and how long it takes comparative to that of a normal being's [though I kind of glossed over most of it]

  3. Cardinal Armand Allobrogum, bearing very little in terms of worldly possessions, reads the Will from upon the roads themselves. He remained ever silent, and yet shook his head at the death. "You will be remembered. From within the heavens, you smile the sun's smile; and your sight saw all, even up until this moment. I pray that your wisdom guides me ever longer, Remus."

  4. Armand Cardinal Allobrogum peered over the Thesis from his chambers within the office of the Auditor, brushing his hand over a pile of papers and documents that needed completing - his fellow Judges present within the Office, also.

    "An interesting thesis, to say the least. It holds some great promise, and wisdom. What say you, Judges?"

    He offered out the Thesis to the Judges to view for themselves.

    It has come to the attention of the Dicastery for Canon Law, and subsequently to the Tribunal of our Holy Mother Church, that, in your false attempt to claim your head and name to the throne of the Holy Orenian Empire, you have severely breached Canon Law itself.

    It is stated within the tomes, as such;

    "A person who claims the office of Holy Orenian Emperor without the approval of the High Pontiff incurs excommunication automatically, as do all who assist him."

    Thusly, to claim the role of Emperor without the consent of the High Pontiff, would logically warrant the Excommunication of the House of Staunton, as all those of your kin would seek to aid you in this act. Your attempt to the throne breeds discord and sinful chaos amongst all within Man, and is a crime against Man itself. Your claims to be a Servant of the GOD contradict all you say. Withdraw your declaration, or be faced with immediate Excommunication to all those who are the blood of the House of Staunton, pending investigation by the might of The Tribunal.

    All shall be weighed through the scales of judgement.

  6. Formerly Bishop Armand, now Armand Cardinal Allobrogum, rose from the stool upon which he laid via the bedside of that of Father Markos, signing the Lorraine - before lifting a lantern to guide the way, in the cold night amongst the sands.

    "Truth hath come to shine unto mine woeful eyes; showing me the way forward. It is time."

  7. The Bishop of San Luciano made preparations for the Vigil. An intonation of sorrow and solemnity lay upon the Chapel of the Archangel Michael in these times; marked by the smell of burning incense, originating from the censers held by each Monk. "A trying time, for all; but we will make our path through this agony, and show that fear holds no place within our hearts."

    The times of strife are upon Man in these present moments; the archaic frosts of thanhic origins have gripped Savoy with strength akin to that of the historical days of Mordskov. And yet, even before this greatest threat of frost, Man must hold Fortitude; for even in the avarice that is strived for by those of foreign origin, in the shunning of the ways of others, and in the pursuit of pride, we must be virtuous.

    All ye who have escaped that greatest of threats that has come upon the Savoyards, ye who lie in the lands surrounding Niseep, and any who may wish to approach, the GOD knows Agony so much as ye all do. Within the safety of Gereon’s Hold, within Niseep, lies the newly borne Chapel - that of The Chapel of the Archangel Michael, and within it, that Presence most Holy lies. I, Bishop Armand, will join all ye; for even now, we must be vigilant, and bear fortitude in the face of the agony that has come upon us. They have used fear as a weapon to strike it into our hearts; but we will give them no quarter, and we will show them that fear is not their weapon to use, but our own.

    Within the Church, within the Chapel of the Archangel Michael, lies solace and peace, for all those of you who may wish to come there. It will provide aid to all those who now lie within Niseep in the fear of the spreading taint of the Threat. No man will go without food, nor clean water; no man will go without aid in the form of arms, or the healing, wrought of the hands of the physicians and alchemists who aid us all, in this time.

    Have faith, all ye, for the time will come where faith will be your friend, and strike doubt into the heart of your foe.

    • Mesopotamia: Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians
    • The start of the civilization. It's just great because normally in LOTC there's people trying to innovate, become more modern, etcetera. But me myself I just love ANCIENT cultures and the roleplay around it (Tradition, religious, etc). So if someone is interested, we can reject modernity and return to monke (Okno).
