  1. Several weeks passed since the fall of the infernal bastion that was built in the Korvassa.

A handful of men donning burgundy tabards, whose fronts have golden stars embroidered onto them, sit around a campfire with a spit fixed over it.Boisterous laughter erupts for the shortest of moments from these men, quiet chatter follows in its wake, and the laughter would thereafter return. A flaxen haired man looks upon a nearby standard fixed into the scorched Korvassan soil; the burgundy flag flies proudly in the breeze, presenting its own golden star to all who'd look upon it. This same man looks to his comrades and speaks.

"There's still work here to be done. Isn't that right, brothers?"

To this, the other men nod. There was still much work to be done: it was something they all knew.

A company of men, who’d originally numbered at two dozen but now had twenty three, sallied out of Aegrothond’s gates. Not even an hour prior, the Descendants succeeded in their stalwart defense of Aegrothond against the hordes of Inferi from the South. This company of men, who belonged to a foreign order, came to aid the Descendants in their struggle. The burgundy tabards they wore, which had golden stars seamlessly embroidered onto them, were dirtied by blood, soot, and ashes. They were in a state of mourning as a result of the loss of one of their own -- a man they carried in a bloodied stretcher with a blanket over his body. Victory could not come without sacrifice.

Their patron and benefactor would be pleased though.

At the end of their long trek north, they found a camp with many men donning the same tabards. The sun had already set and these weary men found solace in the campfire’s warmth. Their compatriots were told of the Descendants’ victory even in light of the terrible casualties and losses they suffered. To their own chagrin, the many men of this foreign order had to tend to their supplies after having landed upon the shores of this land - Arcas. So it was that only two dozen men could be sent to aid the Elves of the Elvenesse and their allies in their hour of need.

    They were prepared now.

At the break of dawn, dozens of spearheads and axe-heads fixed onto pikes and halberds gleamed in the arriving sunlight. The full force of the foreign order’s men sent here were ready to march. Six men clad in plate from head to toe were at their forefront, mounted atop regal and mighty destriers draped in burgundy caparisons. They would start their arduous trek to the South to aid the Descendants in their great conflict against the Inferi, as ordered by their angel, Michael. A single, smoldering funeral pyre would be left in wake of their departure.

The men of the Order of the Radiant Star were ready.

    Spoiler

Heya, so a few players have interacted with a small group of knights in the past few months. Very recently at today’s event in Aegrothond, a group of NPCs helped out the players with their defense of the city. You’ll likely be seeing more of these guys in the coming weeks!
